Concorde Hotel New York

Nice, clean and comfortable room with great bathroom - big shower and separate bath tub. Lifts can be slow at peak times so ask for a lower floor room if that's an issue. Front desk and bell man were very helpful.

the view on higher floors into the high rises around is spectacular; room configuration for a corner unit is a bit atypical with the room door opening directly into the bed.

Air was out so it was 80 degrees. After an hour they moved me to a new room which was good, but did have to pack up all my stuff at 10PM to make a switch. Slow elevators. Nice staff.

The hotel is amazing, and the City View rooms offer great views over the city. This was our second stay at the hotel. The first time, we were not really sold on it, so we decided to give it another shot—and it did not disappoint. The hotel is very well located, close to Central Park, 5th Avenue, Park Avenue, and Grand Central Station. However, if you want to visit Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Greenwich Village, you will need to take the subway, which is about three blocks away. The room was really clean and spacious, with plenty of storage space. There was also an iron and ironing board, as well as a mini-fridge. The climate control in the room allows you to set the temperature exactly as you like, whether you prefer it warm or cold. (Since Americans love keeping the indoors at Arctic temperatures, it definitely comes in handy to be able to adjust it yourself!) On the third floor, there is a coffee, water, and lounge area where you can enjoy a break in the morning or evening. Overall, we were very happy with our second stay and would definitely consider staying here again. The only downside to this hotel is the door situation. The doors do not close completely, as there is a small gap underneath them. Because of this, you can hear almost everything that is said in the hallway, as well as the noise from housekeeping when they are in the stairway area. If the hotel could improve the doors and make them more "soundproof", this place would easily be an 11 out of 10!

Amenities available but had to be asked for. Coffee / water station excellent. Front desk and bellman very friendly. Restaurant / bar are a bust. Empty and expensive.

We enjoyed our stay at The Concorde - its in a great location and for the areas we couldn't walk to, the public transport links were nearby so there were no issues getting around NY during our stay. The rooms were lovely, clean and had all we needed for our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Tacky restaurant and bar next to average lobby area , restaurant service was good, food was decent . If you do a late check in, no food and drinks will be available. Staff at lobby,average. Side street in front of hotel a bit sketchy to walk at nights . This hotel has additional charges you will need to pay for separately.

We stayed for 12 Nights, although we had a luxury hotel reservation alternatives for the second week, we were so pleased with the room and the hotel that we cancelled those and stayed in Concorde. Good value for money, good location for both downtown and uptown travelling or for walks around the block. Great views from the room, both lex and park avenues visible, 3 sides of the room were windows making it full of sunlight but not warm. The gym is good enough, business center on the 3rd floor is also convenient with its balcony. Elevators were quite fast. Lack of much of a restaurant or a large fancy lobby but it makes it convenient as well. Thank you for the cleaning staff, the room has been cleaned even after 4pm. Somedays in the morning it took 15 mins for the shower water to get warm. Traffic noise can be heard during the night even if we were on the 7th floor, trucks passing by the hotel towards the morning.

The Concorde was an unexpected delight!! Both our room and bathroom were amazingly spacious, comfortable and well lit. And of course immaculate! The staff went out of their way to help us in every way. The location is great too, straddling mid town and more neighborhoody options. We will stay there again for sure.
