Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New York Brooklyn

The hotel was clean, within walking distance to a subway train station, and the few staff I talked to were very helpful.

Room was clean and well kept. Shower and light worked well. Room was fairly spacious for NY. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was fairly clean. There was hair on the walls in the bathrooms and sticky stuff on the headboard and nightstand. I also kept having issues with my key not working. I had to go to staff to fix it multiple times a day for everyday of my trip. The breakfast was okay. I liked that you could make your own waffles, but the other items weren't that good. Besides that, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Its also a plus that its very close to Barclays Center, Dave and Busters, Target, and other shopping/dining options.

From my very first contact with Anne all the way through to checkout, the customer service and hospitality at the Brooklyn Marriott were absolute perfection. ​The room exceeded all my expectations! Every single request I made was accommodated flawlessly. The room itself was lovely—featuring a comfortable king bed, a beautiful view, and a private patio that made the stay extra special. It was so comfortable and relaxing that I honestly didn't want to leave. ​I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return! There was nothing to not like, everything was lovely!

Breakfast wasn’t as expected

Kudos to all the 🍽 dining staff. Front desk staff was awesome, they were very professional, I arrived 6hrs before check in time, they store my luggage until there was an available room. The room I was in was not big but clean. There was always clean towels and bedding. Housekeeping staff check if you needed anything and made us feel well cared for. Because it's a small hotel the ice machine is located on the odd floors 5,7,9 etc It's New York so expect noise all the time because the city really never sleeps. This has nothing to do with the 🏨 hotel The only problem was the smoking spot directly to the left by front of the building. If you need to take a break or people watch. That is not the spot to sit...Overall it was a great stay

Small rooms

Nothing We asked to have another room because we were put in a room that was like being in the basement.they said they were all booked.the food was cold and terrible.and the lobby was hot felt like they didn’t have the air running.thinking about using another hotel the next time we’re in New York . Overall the quality of the hotel has gone down a lot!!

Everything about this property and the staff was above and beyond greatness. I only wished the breakfast lasted till 10 am.

As a born and raised NY I am skeptical by nature but I was pleasantly surprised! The establishment was very clean. Our room was immaculate and ready when we arrived. Both the breakfast staff and the front door staff was more than courteous, they were delightfully helpful. It was such a pleasant trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is a little bit out the way. Some of the food shops and coffee spots are near, maybe a 15 minute walk, but I'd take the walk in the day time. However it isn't far from many Brooklyn or Manhattan sites and an Uber ride will help land anyone unfamiliar with the area in the right place.
