The room smelled bad and the bathroom smelled bad

Very bad experience

Room phones unfunctioning, and remained so despite my reporting them useless. Hand-held shower sprayed everywhere except where it was aimed, toilet required me lifting the tank lid multiple times to fix the valve. I got the feeling no one but housekeeping ever checked rooms for safety or operability. Breakfasts repeated 2 out of 3 days. Sometimes felt as if they’d been heated sometime in the past. Saw almost no staff even smiling. Guess that’s too expensive in NYC. Disappointing experience I’m sorry to say.

The stay was amazing really loved the rooftop terrace.

Had a great stay there and everything was seamless. The room was great. Usually tv’s at hotels, especially in New York, have limited programming, but this wasn’t the case for us at Fairfield. The breakfast was also better than expected

We had a beautiful view of Brooklyn into Manhattan, from our 11th floor room window. Hotel was close to shops, eateries and sporting event, all within walking distance. Nice included breakfast buffet with plenty of choices. Parking was somewhat limited, and hotel was quite expensive for our two night stay, maybe because it was New York. Overall, nice accommodations.

Front desk staff not always as knowledgeable as they should be nor as helpful. Depends who is working.

Great location, near the Barclay center with lots of restaurants, good coffee shops, and terminals for the subway (Atlantic Av-Barclays Center has connections for most direction from JFK, through out Brooklyn, to Manhattan, up to the Bronx). I was not at the hotel much, but all staff were nice, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was a good size, and breakfast was sufficient for a daily meal (menu changed daily).

Centrally located Advertised parking on site but only limited spots. Had to walk to parking garage.
