Good, saw two cockroaches in the bathroom but other than that, fine for a quick stay
-
Good clean room. The check in process was painfully slow and inefficient.

The cleaning lady woke us up twice, she opened the door at 9 a.m. while my husband, my son, and I were sleeping, so she woke us up. I found that quite inappropriate and uncomfortable for us. Another time, it happened at 2 p.m, so just be aware of that. The hotel looks quite different when you see it in person, everything there is an old style, and the elevator is very small. I liked the bed, it's very comfortable. Bring conditioner because there isn't any there; I only brought shampoo, body lotion, facial cleanser, and body wash, but there's no conditioner. We didn't like it and won't be coming back, it was the first time we paid for a hotel, so I learned a lot about how to choose one in the future! sometimes the cheap option ends up being costly.

terrible,ac is too noising

Easy and comfy

The room (1128) was clean but if you closed the bathroom door all the way you got stuck inside for at least 5 minutes so we put paper in the lock (which we removed before checking out) so it wouldn't close all the way and the lock to the room door was kind of hard to lock. The staff was courteous, polite, and helpful. The air conditioning was alright.
-
The room was basic and weathered, but the staff was kind, the place was quiet, the AC was working and the location was great.
-
Dated building. Bit unsanitary.
-
Quiet and comfy. Nothing fancy but perfect for getting some sleep. Good bag hold and helpful deal with nearby parking garage. All told great stay.
-
A unique hotel. Very clean and just an overall good feeling being there. Close to everything you need.
-
Great location, accessible to restaurants and subway is a big highlight. I liked the security availability during the nights.
-
Very comfortable and had a relaxing time.
-
The AC was not working for one night and couldn’t fix until following day. Bedroom furniture was old and bed made noise every move.
-
Bathroom and bed very nice however
-
The hotel was dated, but well maintained, and my room was exceptionally clean. I appreciated the professionalism of all of the staff I encountered, and would stay there again if I visit NYC.
-
Great location on the Upper West Side. Excellent customer service; friendly staff.
-
The area is more residential than midtown but that’s what gives it charm. Riverside Park is a 2 min walk away and Central Park about 10 mins. There are lots of buses and a great train station down the street which makes transportation very easy. The Hotel staff give excellent service especially Tanveer, Miracle, Dylan & Yogesh. They are courteous and super helpful at all times.
