Room was clean easy to get to the places I needed to and staff was friendly
-
The hotel is in an area of Brooklyn which I would not have chosen had I realized. Please do your research on where this hotel is located before booking.

I have stayed at the Pointe Plaza multiple times. Dora at the front desk is great, always friendly, personable, and efficient. At times there is a lot of traffic noise and honking horns, but obviously this is not under control of the hotel.

Hotel was nice. Room was clean and good size. Everything was perfect. I’ll stay there again. Excellent job!

The problem is, for the traveler, there is little or no food available locally at any time but especially during times for religious obligation. Bring it with you or go forage outside the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Public transport is plentiful as is the usual for hire vehicles one finds in any established metro.
-
24 hour desk was nice, our room was quietly, easy to get around from the location. Let us leave bags when we explored
-
The staff was wonderful, both the gentleman on duty late afternoon when we checked in and the lady the next morning. Efficient and friendly.
-
*a supermarket is one minute away The staff wasn’t that friendly and attentive towards the guests.
-
Reception is all shielded with a grumpy member of staff behind it. When we got outside to try and find parking my son had been threatened, we were not welcome in the area It’s a complete dump in a scruffy , unwelcoming part of NY. Being threatened outside made us leave the area without even booking in. The hotel refused to refund monies. Avoid avoid avoid

24 hour coffee tea and water Breakfasr very basic
-
Breakfast very basic and room shabby. Room very basic and small kitchen in it had no cutlery, crockery or pots pans so completely useless. Lack of free water for guests.
-
The air conditioner was extremely loud and impossible to sleep with, and on top of that, the traffic noise from outside was very heavy all night. In the bed, there were small insects crawling; when I crushed them, a red stain came out, and I found about five of them. In the bathroom, there was a glass shelf that either had loose screws or was already broken; it fell down even though I didn’t touch it. There was no refrigerator or microwave, and no other extra amenities at all. There was a TV, but no remote control, so it couldn’t even be turned on. It was truly just a space where I could sleep—and nothing more.
-
There was also a cockroach in the kitchen area.
-
The area is quiet and it easy to get to the city center. Breakfast is included, and the room is truly spacious. Daily housekeeping is top notch. The only point is perhaps to improve the breakfast choice, such as adding fruit or sweets

Since then, I have called the hotel several times and messaged them, but they have not responded at all. I even believe they blocked my number, because they haven’t answered for over a week. I have never seen anything like this or experienced such a situation before. Just ridiculous! They charged me over $300 for nothing and clearly do not care. If you respect your time and your money, book somewhere else.

It was 100 degrees outside and we had no air-conditioning
-
Several bus stops near the property and a very good supermarket near. We didn’t get down for breakfast as it finished at 9am and that was a little early for us. The bath is massive and a real plus at the end of a long day walking. Many thank for a great stay.
-
Very clean & spacius. The rooms was very comfortable for 5 people. It is easy to get to Manhattan. The area is pretty dirty and the closet transportatition is 20 mins walk.
-
Nice clean lil rooms. Enjoyed my stay.

Location worked well for where we needed to be for work. We were happy with the affordability and accommodations that came with the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the property was kept up well by staff. The TVs in the rooms were pretty small and there was not many channel options. The breakfast left a bit to be desired as well so we sought out elsewhere.
