DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport

Our host Luigi was an excellent host. Will book again when I return to Naples

I tried phoning this DoubleTree multiple times, in order to cancel the hotel reservation due to my delayed flight. But since no one answered the phone at this DoubleTree (I called the direct line to the main desk), my needs were unmet. And so, in getting just 1 or 2 hours of sleep due to my late flight arrival, this was the least satisfying & lowest value hotel stay I have ever had. (And in my 50+ years of travel, I've had hundreds of lodgings in dozens of countries worldwide.)

Also, towels were given for 2 only. We had to call the front desk every day for the towels. It was noisy in the morning (7am) outside of our room. People were standing and talking loud more than 30 minutes. I called the front desk but no answer.

the experience was great I love the hotel my only concern is that the bathroom was not very clean I had to wear slippers in the showers there was rust all over everything and the towels were not clean

This is probably one of the dirtiest hotels I have stayed at. Double tree by hilton means nothing in here, was incredibly dissapointed to stay there

Basic room like most, but clean. The restaurant food could be better for the price you pay. And parking, I mean really I paid a high price to stay 1 night and still get charged 27.00 to park in your parking lot That blows my mind! The lobby is beautiful, the pool was fun. The staff was friendly.

What was not great was the 5 times my husband (with a heart condition) and I were given a room that was occupied. We had to haul luggage up and down elevators and across the lobby and down hallways every time then come back and wait in line to get a new room card. Over 2 hours before we got a room. I specifically requested 2 queen beds and got a king. When all was said and done we spent less than 8 hours at the hotel.

Staff was good at the front desk. Breakfast and services related to breakfast were average, none of the servers smiled or greeted pleasantly. Property was in a decent condition however guest rooms were average and not very clean.

Nice breakfast and the microwave provision at the bar downstairs was a good one than not having it at all. Helpful staff, always ready to provide solutions to challenges
