Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott

It is the most convenient of all the hotels servicing Newark airport. It is literally the only hotel in the airport. I highly recommend staying there if you have an early departure like 6:00 AM in the morning

Staff at front desk and restaurant were wonderful! We also misplaced a cane and were able to find it with their help. ALSO the bus frequency and driver were especially helpful to make us feel confident for upcoming travel the next day!

It was close to the airport however there was no staff to help my elderly parents with their luggage when they got there and they had lots of luggage this is unacceptable when a hotel knows guests are arriving and it being in an airport The lack of staff and the price was so high for the size of the room

Needs major upgrade.

Cons: sink had a clogged/slow drain, water smells, staff didn’t mention parking fee or process upon check-in making me have to go back inside upon checkout (rejected at parking exit) to sort the situation out.

Proximity to the airport Fealt the hotel was a glorified transit lounge although that is the same for most of the other hotels in the vicinity

Great location. Good breakfast. Good staff. The only hotel we’ve ever been to that you have to join the hotel (Marriot club) club with all personal details before allowing to simply access the WiFi.

Perfect location to the airport.

The breakfast food and service, room, all was fine. That said, we were placed in an almost empty breakfast dining area next to a group of four loud speaking people who were clearly having an intense business meeting. It made for a stressful eating environment. I would respectfully request that meetings do not happen in the same area as where people are trying to enjoy a relaxed breakfast experience. We found it rude behavior of the fellow guests who clearly chose to have a breakfast meeting with zero regard for fellow diners.

Close to the airport with good food on site! Great shuttle service as well!

The only thing comfortable was the bed The lights in the bathroom didn’t work even the ones that were on in the photo. The phone did not work with no clear instructions on how it worked. The iron didn’t work either. The Internet did not work properly even with my private relay off and the room smell like cigarettes, even though it was a cigarette free smoking room.

The restaurant and location are great. Staff is impressive! The shuttle drove past us even though we were waving for them to stop. Bad first impression. Your hotel and restaurant staff made up for it and won us back.

Close to airport No hot water, the shower water on/off valve came off in my hand and the cold water wouldn't shut off.

It was great to have the shuttle. The rate was high & the restaurant was expensive.

Great stay! Have come to expect the best when we stay in Newark.

There was no hot or cold water at the hotel from midnight until 5 a.m. We arrived at 12:30 a.m., so we couldn't use the toilet or take a shower. Upon arrival, we discovered that the staff had lost our reservation. Furthermore, although the hotel is located on the airport grounds, there is no direct pedestrian walkway from the terminal—we had to take a shuttle. But if you're going to take a shuttle anyway, you could just as well go to any other hotel that costs half the price. We are very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
