La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Thousand Oaks-Newbury Park

Only thing bad was the kitchen was under construction and the beds make alot of noise! I toss & turn often and would make alot of noise!! Other then that its very nice and accessible!

Stayed there for a business trip one night. When I got to the property the police where there escorting someone off the property. The reception desk stated was on lunch there was another couple there waiting for a hour prior as all doors office and everything was left open and unlocked I had to wait a hour and a half with elderly upon checking in . She stated would be handicap accessible but wasn’t room was super small

Property was ok but cant blame them as it was undergoing a renovation. Rooms were decent with updated room furniture. Beds made weird noises every time you rolled on the beds. Very weird, maybe the box springs or frames they use. I'm sure our neighbors downstairs did now like that. Other than that, location was very convenient and quiet.

The remodeling has made this hotel a 5-star property! I can hardly wait to come back when the breakfast bar is open. Thanks for the great service.

The property looks recently renovated and clean. We received snacks and the room had a coffee maker, but the morning breakfast area is not ready as of 6/26/2026. The air conditioning works well and there is a pool for recreation. The people were extremely nice and helpful. I would go there again in the future.

Nice Hotel

Efficiency and kindness of staff Kitchen was under renovation. Breakfast was lacking.

The property was very comfortable, and clean. Easy check-in. Easy checkout. I liked everything about it

Staff was friendly. Construction limited the ability to give higher scores in other areas.

cLEAN AND VERY NICE ROOM

nothing everything is old and dirty microwave doesn’t work, room smells like a 2 dollar motel and the shower leaks into washroom followed by dressing area

Had to drive to local laundromat at 9:30 pm. A bit dangerous for a single female. WiFi was non existent. Tv had a power or input connection error. I called the front desk five times around 2 am. Sixth call was answered. Staff member said it would have to wait till morning. I said it is morning. Was promised a tech visit at 8 am. *** no show ••• Staff was lame. This is a horrible hotel. Non of the members expressed empathy or any emotion other than a blank stare as if saying who gives a s__t.

Good place

The new upgrades although not finished and not posted to let you know exactly what to expect until after you have booked the room and cannot cancel. I drove from east coast and encountered close roads due to recent fires in California so I was exhausted and had no choice but stay at LA Quinta. Bathroom door is so off line it scrapes the toilet seat, floor felt like it had not been mopped, no trash can or reg coffee in the room. I arrived about 9:30 due to traffic and was woken up with noises around 5:30am

The sink had no running water

Despite ongoing remodel, staff is excellent and room was very clean. Easy check in process and the pool is warm and clean!!!

the door wouldn’t close, the floors were sticky, the phone didn’t work, the outlets didn’t work

Very nice rooms, very clean, comfortable. Doing renovations, so there is construction going on. This also makes the stay a good deal. Very nice staff. Lots of places to eat nearby. Buses are also near. I found my stay very relaxing.
