The place was outdated and had ants in my room. The staff did quickly move me to a new room, so I really appreciate that. I wouldn't be back.
-
My room was very dated and dark, but the staff was super helpful and nice, loved all the amenities and especially the complementary hit class and bicycles.

The place sucks
-
Great location, relaxing environment, food was excellent, pet friendly

Surprise "resort fee" at check in gave instant bad vibes, overnight parking was shockingly expensive. Food was expensive. Felt like I was at a seniors community. The room color was so ugly I left a night early.

The room was *okay* for the price. The room was very far from the main area and then when seeking breakfast, was told that breakfast wasn't included but it was pre-paid in the fee (cost over $50) and after that was sorted out, it took some doing to get it to go and had to return (from the very far room) to get utensils (room has no utensils). If people want to visit you at the hotel, it costs $12/hour to park. The resort fee is pricey. I didn't realize how much until after booking. The one good thing was the close proximity to the cemetery where a family funeral was being held. Not sure I'd book this hotel again.

The resort is nice, but in need of a lot of deferred maintenance including damaged doors, paint, carpet, furniture in rooms. When walking down our hallway, several room doors have a lot of damage to them and in our room, the furniture was really damaged and should have been replaced. Also… the water pressure in the shower is terrible and barely drips out enough to wash the soap off your body/hair.

Would stay again.

Overall, great experience will definitely book again in the future.

Would not recommend it
-
Great location! Close to balboa island and lido island. Grounds and amenities were amazing! Our only complaint was the very thin walls! You could hear everything in the neighbor rooms and hallway!
-
I really like the Hyatt on Jamboree Road, and this was my 2nd stay. The only issue I had was that there was some ants in my room,

Clean rooms
-
Great location. Clean room, pool areas need to be a bit updated
-
this is an amazing property. great location. so close to the pier and Balboa Island and Fashion Island (hint: NOT an actual island).
-
The main pool area is nice. The 2 other pools need a major upgrade.
-
Very nice property. Well maintained. staff are very friendly and helpful. I noticed how positive and happy the staff was. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the fountain, very relaxing. We spent one day out by the pool which was very clean. We had a very pleasant stay.
