In general, the resort was outdated and needs refreshment. For us, we had many maintenance issues, starting day one. The air conditioning did not work in our room and it was 85° when we walked in upon arrival. We babysat a technician for hours, and he had to come back three separate times that day and evening to finally fix the problem. That same evening we wanted to use the in room safe, but it did not work correctly and again we had to wait for a technician to come to our room and figure it out, which conflicted with our dinner plans. When we were finally able to leave the room, we used the complementary shuttle service offered by the resort. The problem was getting a return ride using the shuttle service. We had to wait at least 30 minutes outside the restaurant because no one answered the phone to shuttle us back to the resort. Very poor customer service. All of this happened on the first night we were there. and then there was the problem with self parking, which prevented us from leaving the parking lot because the resort system did not work. We had to do that every day when we wanted to leave the lot, which was really a pain and inconvenience to everyone. On July 22, our third night at the resort, we noticed our toilet leaking. We told the front desk that we were leaving for the day and would be back in the evening so would a maintenance person kindly fix the toilet issue. When we came back later that night the toilet was still leaking on the floor. It was not pleasant

The second night we went to the hotel restaurant after a day of fun and had a drink at the bar. We gave our name to the hostess and she said she would call us in 20 minutes for dinner. After about 30 minutes she comes over to us at the bar and told us it will now be an additional 40 min before she could seat us. We were very much under the impression someone more important must have come in and she seated them instead. Never went back to eat there after that.

Everyone greets you with a smile; rooms are comfortable and clean, view is spectacular! Can't wait to go again😊

The room was clean and we had a great view of the bay. If you're not a member you cannot swim in their waterfront pool so be aware. The guest pool is nice but the service staff are not prompt on getting and taking orders. However, the young man who checked us into the pool was 5 star. Give that man a raise! Spa was overpriced for what you get. $220 for 50 min massage seems absurd. Spa is slow to respond by email so be sure to call. The mattress in our hotel room slid all over the place (it was literally sitting on a plastic base) and there was no microwave to heat up our coffee or room service. The room also got too warm one evening even with thermostat set to 67. One of the employees told us we'd see fireworks from our room for the 4th of July. We saw ZERO yet they were all going off around us. 😂 It's a lovely resort but we will likely try a different one when we return next time. We had a far better hotel experience the first part of our trip in San Diego at Pacific Terrace right on the beach with a waterfront pool and amazing poolside cafe and paid half the price.

Great hotel w/hospitable staff. The property is currently being renovated so there’s a little bit of noise but it’ll be excellent once complete. If you can, book a room overlooking the bay & all the boats/yachts. Great experience, will definitely be back.

My spouse and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and as a same-sex couple, we felt completely welcomed, respected, and cared for from the moment we arrived. The staff was so accommodating, warm, and genuinely kind. When we arrived, they had chocolate-covered strawberries waiting in our room, along with a complimentary bottle of wine. They also offer nightly turndown service, which added such a thoughtful and luxurious touch to our stay. Our room was huge, beautifully kept, and had a balcony overlooking the pool. The entire resort was clean, elegant, and well maintained. Even though they were renovating the lobby during our stay, it did not take away from the experience at all. Everything still felt peaceful, organized, and high-end. Every staff member we encountered greeted us and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious both at the bar and in the restaurant. Jake, the valet, was amazing and so helpful throughout our stay. The staff at Blend was also wonderful. The butter croissant and spinach and cheese croissant alone are worth coming back for, and the vanilla matcha was absolutely delicious. We loved this resort so much that we are already planning to come back later this year so we can enjoy the pool because it was to chilly when we was there.

Great place to stay! Wonderful room service and great views. We used the pool and the hot tub and had a great time.

That call never came. When my daughter arrived, the front desk told her that Adam had never completed the check-in and refused to help, even though the mistake was entirely on the resort's end. As a result, her mother had to drive more than two hours through rush-hour traffic just to get there and check her in. I asked for a manager to call me, but no one ever did. A week later, I called again because I was still upset and was told Rami would return my call. It's now been another week, and I'm still waiting. The entire experience was frustrating, disorganized, and showed a complete lack of accountability. A simple mistake by the front desk caused a major inconvenience for my family, and management's failure to follow up only made matters worse. This is not the level of service I expect from a four-star resort or even a 2 star resort for that matter.
