Don’t stay here. Housekeeping left towels from last ppl hanging in shower. Breakfast ends 2 hrs before checkout as if ppl aren’t getting in all times of nite. They don’t honor prices advertised. Indoor pool to cold to swim in. Highly disappointed in the Newport News City Center location. For an industry that charges full price at check-in, y’all dont cater to customers needs.

Probably the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Floors super dirty, bedding had stains, wash cloths dingy, sofa stained, all surfaces sticky.
-
This hotel was disgusting. Our room smelled like mildew and mold. It was so humid and sticky. We stayed in July and it was more humid in our room than outside. The floors were sticky and covered in nasty crap. There was mold behind the bed and blood spots on our bedding. How ironic that they have signs everywhere saying “breathe in” this is a smoke free hotel….yet it smelled strong of marijuana smoke everywhere. The pool was foamy and cloudy. I brought my concerns up with the front desk and asked for a discount and they weren’t even willing to address the problems and refused a discount.

The staff was not terrible but the facility needs a lot of work.
-
The room was clean, when I checked in. My only suggestion would be to change out the shower liner. The continental breakfast wasn't the greatest but only because there were limited options. I would recommend this hotel and/or stay here again.
-
There were only 2 breakfast options available, cereal and either pancakes or waffles. The counter was dirty. Disgusting
-
My room was very clean although some people said the pool was dirty but when we went it was clean. Staff was nice & they had breakfast.
-
Oo and breakfast from 6amto9am is a yogurt and waffle maker this place was horrible and I never write reviews on places but this place was horrible DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
-
The accessible room did not have a rail by the toilet, the toilet paper holder was inaccessible. There was no hair dryer and no tissue box. The shower was very slippery. The breakfast consisted of waffles and apple juice. The lobby area was very small. No rack to hang towels.
-
I was able to check in early. The hallways smelled pretty bad. The breakfast is very limited. It was just a waffle maker, 4 apples, orange juice was out, and 2 cereals (corn flakes, and fruity loops) . The shower curtain had mold on the bottom of curtains. The sheets were moist when we got into bed. The gym has a time where it is open and closed which is weird since it is usually 24/7 everywhere. The pool was all foamy so I was too afraid to use it. The parking lot had a lot of space.
-
More use of amenities such as pool the pool was always being cleaned SK we did not get a chance to use it
-
Toilet didnt work, low pressure in shower.

Where do I begin? The hallway smelled like Marijuana despite them making you click through a no marijuana disclosure. The room was dirty and we went to Target to get Lysol because it looked unclean. The floor was sticky, A/C was blowing humidity, TV didn’t work, bed frame platform was rusted, booger on the wall, hair in the tub, fingerprints on the headboard, stains of who knows what on the comforter, etc. a far cry from the pictures on Expedia.

Very nice property no issues
-
The staff is friendly and the parking is free. When we return to Newport News we will surely book here again.

Hotel room was very nice. Bathroom mirror was modern and excellent overall good stay.
-
Good luck

Solid stay, clean linens, some small stains on the couch pillows but nothing terrible. Floors were a bit damp but obviously cleaned continously from the pool traffic. Breakfast was basic - fruit/waffle/yogurt/juice/coffee/team but fresh. Would rate 7.5/10 and would stay here again. Easy parking and no fuss check in and check out
-
To start off the pool was dirty but was better the next day, shower curtain was full of mildew, didn’t eat breakfast, parking was good and staff wasn’t friendly
-
Last min check in and the front desk clerk made my check in so smooth.. and he was very kind!!
