We had a King Garden room and we brought along our Golden Retriever. The pet amenities were excellent. They provide a dog bed, and food and water bowls. And treats of course! We enjoyed having the patio since the room was a bit tight with 2 adults and our Golden, but overall - clean and comfortable stay. The breakfast was also delicious and reasonably priced. Best biscuit I’ve ever had - flakey and delicious. Overall a great stay! Located nice and close to the beach.

No A/C or TV but it was a place to unplug and reset

Everything is nice only the pillows is bad feel like sleep on a ballon , I wake up with neck pain

Rooms are nicely appointed if small but the common areas are outstanding. You feel like you are a guest in a larger home.

Great experience with helpful & friendly staff. The renovation from a couple years ago is tastefully done. Breakfast was also excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sylvia! We stopped for a night on our road trip up the coast and it was the highlight of the trip. We ended up staying in the Agatha Christie room. We loved being able to see the ocean from the room and sitting on the porch drinking coffee. The hotel was so cute all around and the food in the restaurant was delicious! My partner had the tofu scramble and it was one of the best ones we’ve ever had. Hopefully we can stay at this hotel again!

We adored this place! The staff was so friendly and the complimentary coffee was amazing. I wish we had a week to stay there and just be lazy and read! We arrived early and just inquired about early check in. We went to lunch and before we even got our food, we received a call that our room was ready. 10/10 recommend unless you cannot do stairs.

It was literary themed with an interesting library upstairs. Free espresso and a nice fire on back porch. Right on the water with beautiful views. Make sure to go to the historic bayfront and check out the sea lions
