The Inn had a delicious breakfast every morning with several options from fresh baked goods, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals. Coffee, Tea and Lemon water was available all day along with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for a sweet treat. Our room was clean and spacious, bathroom was smaller but extremely clean and had extra toiletries for use. The Inn is from the 1800’s it is beautifully decorated well maintained and simply charming. The only change that I would make for our next visit is to request a room not near the front door. If you wanted to sleep in or nap before going out for the evening you hear the coming in and out of the other guests. Otherwise the YPI is deserving of 5 stars overall. See you next September!

Cozy hotel with a great location! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the rooftop deck and breakfast each morning.

Staff, owner, location, customer service, breakfast, personal touch. Parking was a bit tight but we made it work. Everything else was great.

There was a free bus to the mansions and the cliff walk right outside the Inn, many restaurants were in walking distance, the porch out front was gorgeous as was the roof deck.

It was humid in our room due to the front door being open for the day (we were in room 1 next to it) and there is a gap on our room door at the bottom so the outside humidity comes in for 12 hours a day 9am to 9pm and we're unable to open the windows when it cooled down to let the stuffy out as they are sealed shut. We had the window ac unit on which is extremely loud (we understand it's an old building so that is the only ac unit that will work to keep the character of the building but it doesn't completely do the job. This wouldn't deter me from visiting again.

The stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the rooftop deck. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the daytime host and the front desk, sorry I can’t remember her name, but she went over and beyond help us with our luggage, questions about where to eat and things to see. The breakfast was continental but done well. Definitely recommend.
