Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the cheese and wine for the afternoons on the roof deck. Room was very clean but basic. Not enough body lotion for showering. Would have like more hot options for breakfast other than oatmeal. Overall very nice property that I would rebook for a future stay in Newport.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yankee Peddler Inn in Newport. The location was perfect—within walking distance of the waterfront, shops, restaurants, and many of Newport’s attractions. The inn was clean, charming, and full of historic character. Our room was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each day. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful with recommendations for things to do around town. The free parking was also a huge bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Yankee Peddler Inn to anyone visiting Newport. We look forward to returning!

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovely building, very well located and an extremely nice staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

The Yankee Peddler was everything I expected after reading past reviews. Perfectly located (walking distance to the Lobster Shack and the Newport Harbor, Int'l Tennis HOF, Audrain Car Museum...) with the free shuttle stop right at the bottom of the stairs. The shuttle runs about Mid-May to late October taking you to the gilded age "cottages" and other places. Do the Cliff Walk! It's beautiful. The Inn and its keepers are awesome. So friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the area. The breakfast was faaaaaantastic! I looked forward to it everyday almost as much as my daily lobster roll! ;) We visited with many other travelers down in the breakfast room. There were even beautiful fresh flowers on the tables. I know where I'll be staying when I return to Newport!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast - more than a continental breakfast, however our room in the Carriage House was very small. Also the shower was very small.
-
Lovely owner and staff. Very helpful with site seeing and restaurant suggestions. Thoughtful amenities like convenient place to fill water bottles before heading out for the day and fresh cookies, coffee, or tea in the common room in the afternoon. Convenient to everything and easy parking. Will definitely try to stay here whenever I return.
-
Very quiet and calm I love the rooftop terrace in the mornings. I would take my coffee there and enjoy all the beautiful flowers that had been planted in pots around The sitting area. Exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms Lovely breakfast with some fresh baked goods lots of wonderful fresh fruit, eggs, breads, and anything you would need to start your day Very friendly staff ,owners are lovely. I will definitely stay there again if we are in the area It was nice that it was in a quiet area as The area by the water is really very noisy So it was good to be far enough, although walking distance for sure, but far enough not to hear all the hullabaloo.
-
Great location, great roof top open sitting area. Good breakfast and coffee available. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels. Staff excellent, friendly, patient, gave us lots of good advice for what to do, where to eat. There was place to store food in little kitchen. Not much at all.

The Inn, staff, and location were all great. Wouldn't change a thing.
-
Great location and the staff was phenomenal! Was lucky enough to get early check in, bagels and food were ready before 7:30 for those who had to leave early, and the parking situation was easily managed by the staff. Would definitely stay again!

The room was super spacious and comfortable, breakfast was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was very good, could walk with no problem to the Wharf and downtown Nothing, loved everything about this place

Location, location, location. Loved the staff, breakfast, and room. Everything was excellent. NA.
-
Friendly staff at the desk and helped celebrate our engagement. Good location. Inadequate parking and notification about minimum spaces and staff needing keys to move vehicles is not something I would trust if I had known ahead of time. Cleaning staff was pushy and rude on two occasions and breakfast options were very limited. Room is very old and dated and didn’t meet expectations pictures on booking showed. Inn is showing its age.

It was clean and cozy and centrally located. The staff was super nice and welcoming and candy bowl was always filled! The breakfast options were perfect and the wine/cheese on weekend evenings were great too! The only thing was our bathroom was very tiny-it was fine for us (2 women, my daughter and myself) but if you are a larger male (tall, wider) it may have been a challenge in the bathroom.
-
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house.
-
Rooms are a bit small, but clean.
-
Well kept and charming. Loved the proprietor and staff. The continental breakfast was much more than what you would expect. It is located in the perfect spot to walk to most all points of interest. Above and beyond customer service. Na

I came alone and felt very safe everywhere. What an amazing trip! The Yankee Peddler is a place of solid New England tradition and the deck on the roof is great after a day of shopping! It was great!
