Holiday Inn Niagara Falls State Park Entry by IHG

The front desk do not have update from maintenance and they asked me to go and check my my room whether maintenance team came by or not. Swimming pool under maintenance and they asked us to go to their sister hotel - doubletree to use swimming pool :).. pathetic

Good

The room was so humid our bedding all felt wet every night. Turned in towels and never got any back. Someone dedicated in pool so we could not use it. The rooms are a bit dated. Restraunt attached was buy an adult meal get kids meal free. Parking was horrible as it was not just hotel parking but also public pay to park.

Hotel was okay wasn’t really impressed

This is to complain about one of your front desk people. The young lady had such a thick Spanish accent that I constantly had to ask her to repeat herself. I asked her three times about breakfast and she said all we had to do was present our room key to the Anchor Bar waiter. When we got to breakfast the next morning, and after we had ordered, we were told we would have to pay because we didn't have the little card we were supposed to have gotten when we checked in. I then went back to the front desk and one of the other staff gave me the correct card. By the time I got back to breakfast my meal was cold.

The room was clean and the set up was nice. There were things fixed in the room that wasn’t properly fixed. The hole in the bathroom door was fixed but not properly fixed because you could see where the hole. They patched it but it wasn’t blended with the door. They painted the window ceil and left paint blue tape and dripping of paint on the heater.

Staff helpful and the Anchor Bar attached to the hotel was nice to go to for drinks and bar food. The open pool in the hotel contributed to high humidity especially in the first floor room we were assigned which was very close to the pool. Room had a constant clammy feel. Housekeeping services very minimal. During our 4 nights stay, we only received towels and emptying of trash. We requested fresh sheets but we were informed sheet changes are only done at checkout. The bathroom in our room also needed attention as toilet wouldnt shut off and leaked continually. The shower drained so slow that the water level would be high in the tub before one finished with even a reasonably short shower.

Location

The chairs at the pool weren't put together properly and one collapsed on me. They advertise a complimentary buffet breakfast and they don't serve a breakfast. Not happy!

The hotel was comfortable. But they have to many hidden fees!!!

Water clogging in the sink and shower tub, paint coming out of the tub, had to go programme the door key each day. No online check-in option. 2 rooms were given on different floors.

Everything is good

Location The toilet bowl was dirty, hair shavings in back hrub, shower curtain needed to be changed

The hotel was clean the staff friendly and helpful. Check in/check out was easy and quick

Everything was walking distance and breakfast was really good. Shower head water was weak and the tub drain was slow in drawing the water.

Nice place short walk to the falls

Room was clean, the bath tub was clogged and dirt was coming up from the drain which we didn’t allow for a shower the tv kept turning on on its own thru the night. Which kept waking me up called front desk and they unplugged it. Shower upon closing it a surge of hot water spewed out and scolded ny mom. The staff was very understanding and verr respectful.

Overall it’s okay.
