La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Norfolk

The room itself was disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the WiFi was unreliable, cutting out repeatedly during my stay. The overall maintenance of the hotel was unacceptable. It took the staff three days to clean up a large stain in the property's only elevator, and the swimming pool was green and appeared poorly maintained. The final straw came when I found ants in my room. At that point, I decided to cut my stay short and leave. Based on my experience, this property does not deserve its current rating. I would consider it a two-star hotel at best and would not recommend staying here.

They had bedbugs it was disgusting

Hotel was decent. Toilet seat was lose and tv in suite didn’t work.

This was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, nothing to say about the staff because I had virtually zero encounter with them. Pretty much impossible to talk with managers.

The positive thing was that the front desk people who worked there were friendly, especially the gay guy! HOWEVER, i stayed here for 5 days and not once was my room serviced by house keeping, trash never was taken out, bedding never changed, no new towels ever brought to me or anything. I told the front desk and they basically just gave me new towels and wrote it down in the logbook it looked like but no service ever came until of course the day i was checking out. then all the sudden, they wanted to come clean out the room. the floor i stayed on (4th) smelled like cat pee every day, and the bathroom didn’t have any hand soap or any shampoo in the bottles… and the bath tub looked poorly cleaned if cleaned at all… it was just nasty overall. 2/10

We requested housekeeping for the following day since we were staying multiple nights, but no one ever came to clean the room. We had to request fresh linens, including clean sheets and pillowcases, because everything was filthy. Kimberly was unprofessional and dishonest throughout our stay. She repeatedly gave us conflicting excuses, starting with the room type. We had a confirmed reservation for two queen beds but were given a king room instead. When we asked about housekeeping, she claimed rooms are only cleaned every third day if you book a three-night stay, which made no sense. She was rude, disrespectful, dismissive, and had a very poor attitude. We’re not coming back

My reservation was cancelled because i had forgotten to unlock my card so when they tried to charge it got declined and it wouldn't let me try again

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to get to nearby attractions and restaurants.

The rooms wasn’t very clean, especially the pull out couch. My daughter wouldn’t sleep on it because she said it smelled like pee and was the most uncomfortable mattress.

Staff is excellent no hot tub

We stayed two nights, our room did not get clean, bed not made up, nor did we get fresh towels after the first day.

Awesome staff with very central location from Norfolk to Virginia Beach if traveling for work and have any off time.

Our room was clean and well maintained.Breakfast was really yummy. But the front desk employee when we checked in was not so welcoming, the way she talked and informed me about our stay. I hope they won’t do it even to different race.

My room had a roach infestation

My stay was ok the first night that we stayed at the hotel out air was not working at full capacity. We contacted the front desk they were very helpful. But couldn’t get it looked at until the next morning and they were right on it got the unit replaced and the rest of our stay was great . SHOUT TO THE WEEKEND staff on the Fourth of July they were awesome

The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days so we checked in Tuesday and checked out Friday and our room was never serviced even after we asked for it. So our room was full of trash and no clean towels except when we went to the front desk for them. Otherwise clean and was nice enough.
