It's ok for the price.

Staff was nice and helpful but the property could use some more updates and roaches all over including in my room ...

Seen a roach , room wasn’t cleaned to its full potential, looked like someone threw up on the curtains , bathroom outdated and the tub and toilet kept bringing up water with a sewer smell

Just by the beachfront

As a small hotel, they did a good job trying to remodel. Hopefully they will add a wardrobe or something to hang your clothes, jackets, etc in the room. It would have also been nice to have a hook on the bathroom door or a place to hang bathing suit or whatever to dry. Otherwise it was a decent stay. I'd stay again for that price.

Location Room was dirty and bathroom had a smell.

While the cost of the room was great once we got into our room you could see that the place was really run down. Smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, paint missing from the walls, cleanliness was questionable, and didn’t feel safe. There are no amenities near by. Gentleman at the front counter was very nice and helpful but due to the condition of our room we ended up forfeiting the cost and going somewhere else.

The beds are extremely comfortable. The room was clean. The shower was okay. Not much water pressure. The front door to the lobby being locked was a little alarming. You have to be buzzed in. Cleaning staff extremely friendly. The partial beach view from hotel is nice, but it didn’t really matter because curtains are closed for privacy from others walking and running by. It was nice having a kitchen. The full size refrigerator was a plus. They don’t provide anything for the kitchen. If you plan on really using the kitchen you need to bring everything with you. They don’t supply anything. The beach is nice, water is great for kids to play in. Flies were bad. Take some bug spray just in case. Over all pleasant stay.

Run down and falling apart

It’s nice and clean

Nothing Trash on the floor and not swept and baseboards covered in dust. Sink was nasty. Furniture was shabby and no where to hang anything or a towel. Beach was trashy and neighborhood was sketchy. Don’t stay here!

Perfect location if you can handle the terrible room penetrated with smoke of weed.

Shower and floor dirty. Room smelled like smoke, curtains did not keep light out. No seal on door so it was very loud, could hear every car on highway. Not enough blankets on bed.

Room was clean, few steps to the beach, walls are thin so u have loud neighbors you will hear them. Surprised to see a full fridge and place to cook

What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly consider staying here again in the future. Overall, we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, and the location has a lot of potential. However, the biggest concern for us was the cleanliness of the unit upon arrival. When we checked in, we found food debris, wrappers, and other items left under furniture and inside drawers, along with a noticeable amount of sand and dirt throughout the room. To make ourselves comfortable, we purchased a broom, dustpan, and Swiffer and spent approximately two hours performing a thorough cleaning when we arrived. Throughout our four-day stay, we continued sweeping, wiping surfaces, and tidying the room multiple times each day. Unfortunately, another issue we encountered was the presence of cockroaches. We found one in a dresser drawer while unpacking, another underneath the bed near the base frame, and a third that ran onto the bed during our stay. While we understand that pest issues can occasionally occur in coastal areas, this was concerning and negatively impacted our overall experience. In total, we estimate spending four to five hours cleaning during our stay. While we were able to manage the sand and general upkeep, the pest issue was much more difficult to overlook. We hope management addresses these concerns because, aside from the cleanliness and pest issues, this property has the potential to be one of the better places to stay in the Ocean View area.
