Comfort Inn & Suites Norman near University

Room was clean, properly was maintained, it was also quiet, which we appreciated. Convenient location

The hotel was clean but in dire need of upgrades and repair. Paint peeling from walls and ceiling, the AC struggled to keep up with the heat, towel hooks missing from door, key cards old and difficult to use. One front desk staff was amazing and helpful, the other was less so. The system completely lost our reservation at one point after we had already been there for two days. The gym was unavailable. We did not try the breakfast. It met our needs, but was certainly not worth the money we paid for it.

It was a safe place on the good side of town. The elevator was not working. It was not as clean as I’d expect. And the price was outrageous for the lack of quality

Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and things were quiet over night. Didn't hear doors closing, other guests in the hallway, etc. Older property, fixtures could use updating (bathroom fan in particular) but we weren't looking for fancy (we went for location, close to OU). Fitness area was closed our 2-night stay, elevator went out of service just before 1am on night two and was still out of service when we checked out. Staff very friendly, and they do have a company that will shuttle you to/from OU--be sure to ask!

it was pretty much what I would expect from a comfort Inn. It was very, very clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. it is definitely seen better days. The couch in the room was pretty well worn and there was rust all over the door frame to the bathroom. It wouldn’t be that hard to clean that up and paint over it. It would really have made me feel a lot better about being there. I have to say my biggest complaint is the soap in the bathroom. I was being low maintenance and did not bring my own body wash or soap. The soap that y’all had in the bathroom was so cheap and low quality that I don’t think I got any cleaner when I showered. That was kind of gross. I think y’all could easily do better. It was Parents weekend ou but, due to the weekend that it was I paid a lot for the room, and I booked late so I had no other options. so due to the weekend that it was, I paid nearly $400 a night for the room and it just would’ve been nice to have soap that actually worked.

Matress was definitely used but clean. Overpriced

Actually just the location was great for our event. A lot of things. 1st: The appearance of staff was unprofessional, no Comfort Inn uniforms, when they answered the phone, no Comfort Inn hospitality. I wanted to check my email, computer room was down, pool was not in service, AND hotel elevators were not working the 2nd night we were they!! Breakfast area was gross and food was not edible.

I like the place close to nice places to eat. Felt safe there
