Motel 6 Norman, OK

- was there for multiple nights and put in a room right off the lobby which is LOUD all the time (esp at 6:30am it seems) - didn't feel safe.

Easy and quick to check in, clean, everything you would need for a motel.

Super friendly staff, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great location for OU students. Lots of restaurants and Sooner Mall nearby

When we arrived at the hotel, the parking lot was empty, the doors were locked, and no one answered the phone. Once we found another hotel, the receptionist at that hotel told us that parts of the city were out of electricity from a storm 2 days prior. There was no effort to contact guests with reservations, which makes me believe there was no cell phone or tablet backup for checking in or calling guests in such emergencies like other hotels do. At the very least, a sign should have been posted on the door explaining why they were closed.

We had to leave because they're were bed bugs. We were told a refund from Expedia would be issued but still havent gotten the refund

Need better beds

They require a $25 deposit (refundable) on checkin even with hotels.com. No breakfast. Bed was comfy, though one more pillow would have been nice. The bathroom sink is a trendy farmhouse style bowl that if you turn on the water too high at first, the water splashes right on you. The shower head is weak. If you are of wider girth, the tub shower design is not friendly, and it is deep (would be great for a skinny adult's bubble bath or a kid's bath though). Be aware that not all rooms had fridge & MW (mine did), just an observation based on signage at checkin. Secure entry even in front lobby (you have to meet your food delivery person downstairs). Spartan, affordable. And the real AC was ICE COLD! I would consider staying again.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They did charge me anything when I brought my little chihuahua with me, I did have his kennel with me. Linens were all clean as well as the rest of the room and hotel. The deposit to stay was lower than anywhere else that In looked at. There wasn't breakfast but it made up for it by being clean and very quiet.

Front desk Staff was not available most times.. but hotel was very well maintained

Door didn't lock normally. Three "locks," but they had to be locked in a certain order in order for the door to be "locked.". This was due to poor maintenance on the locks and door itself.

This was a great room for the price

Nothing There was no breakfast. We had over a one inch gap in the main room door we could see into the hallway. There were only 2 towels for 4 people. Only 2 small lights worked in the room. It took 20 minutes to get warm water to shower. We were put near an exit that people came and went All night slamming the door. None of us slept . The worse experience we have ever had.

Nice and clean. No bells and whistles at all but conveniently located and a great value. Way better than most other motel 6

It was very clean on the outside and in the facility. The key card did not work all the time, if you went out and came back it did not work, if you got in then at the room it did not work, then you had to go back downstairs and get a new key card, this happen all day long. There was no one to clean the room, we had to take out our on trash and ask for clean towel both days. No room service.
