Hampton Inn Charleston-North

We were not happy with the room, so we checked out and canceled the 2nd night. Not able to contact ANYONE who can refund my account.

Our stay was great from start to finish. The facilities were clean, the breakfast was great.

Upon arrival, the young lady at the front desk was so welcoming and everything after that was equally great

The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The room could have been cleaner. There were dirty barefoot prints on the walls near the door. The whole room needed a wipe down.

Nicely updated, pretty maintained. Did not like that I had to pay for parking even though they had their own lot.

I enjoyed the stay but to charge for parking is super annoying. It your own parking lot to expect your guests to pay for parking is turn off especially since you have plenty of parking that you own. I will look for somewhere with free parking next time

Wow. What a pleasure to check in with wonderful people, greeted with a smile, clean, refreshing room, accomodations for a disabled person, quality products for you to use, great breakfast

Overall, a good Hampton Inn. The guest ambassador, Matt, was very helpful and friendly as were the receptionists when we checked in and out The property is up to Hampton Inn standards, and the breakfast was too. There is a parking app, and the motel asks for a parking fee. Since the motel is inexpensive, it is not a major concern, but I was a bit surprised as Hampton Inn is the first motel to ask for a separate parking fee. The point of a motel as opposed to a hotel is the "motor" aspect is made more convenient. Hampton Inn's adoption of a parking app is a major departure from the days of US Route 66. Also, there is an app available to tip the cleaning and other staff. I tried to use it, but it insisted on knowing my email address even though identifying information had already been provided to the motel. I have no interest in additional junk email, and I'm sure had I entered my email, that would have been the result.

Breakfast was always plentiful and warm. Would stay at this facility again

The rooms seemed clean, and the breakfast staff was fantastic. I was not impressed by anything else.

If you’re traveling for leisure and spending the week in Charleston, you may want to look for something closer to the city. But if you’re traveling for business or just staying for the night, not a bad choice at all. Very close to the airport and lots of food options close by.

Although I was surprised that there was a charge for parking, I found the room to be above average in comfort. I especially appreciated having a chaise in the room

Well I cant honestly say anything about the ameneties. I reserved the room with a jetted tub well in advance for my birthday but was disappointed at check in when we discovered that they had given my room to someone else.
