Love the included breakfast with our stay! the room was spacious but hoped for bigger size swimming pool. Overall, for the price, we are satisfied and definitely will stay here again!

The sofa bed was another major issue. It didn't have clean sheets when we opened it, so I had to request fresh ones and make the bed myself. The mattress was extremely old and thin, and I could feel the springs all night. It was so uncomfortable that I barely slept and woke up with severe body aches every morning. Parking was also inconvenient. The hotel charges an additional $19 per night, and cars are parked behind one another. If you‘ve blocked a car, you have to leave your keys with the front desk or risk having your car towed. The worst part of our stay was discovering that I had been bitten by bed bugs while sleeping on the sofa bed. My arm became severely swollen, and I had to see a doctor, who confirmed the bites and prescribed medication. The only positive part of our stay was that the breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, the cleanliness, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, and bed bug issue made this a very disappointing experience.

The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. Daily room cleaning was not provided unless we specifically requested it, and we were told the hotel was short-staffed. That’s not an acceptable experience, especially since one of the main reasons we chose a hotel over an Airbnb was to have reliable daily housekeeping. The complimentary breakfast was below average with limited variety, and overall service did not meet expectations. Another drawback was the absence of an in-room safe, which is a basic amenity many travelers expect. Other than being conveniently located near Universal Studios, there aren’t many advantages to staying here. The surrounding neighborhood also didn’t feel as appealing as other areas we considered. Overall, I don’t think this hotel justifies its price. For a similar or slightly higher rate, I would recommend staying at a Holiday Inn or Hilton property, where you are more likely to receive better service, amenities, and overall value. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again or recommend it to others.

The hotel is exactly what you'd expect for a Comfort Inn. It was nice enough and the staff was friendly. We only booked for 1 night, we used the room as a home base for some activities in North Hollywood. It worked out good for us.
