This hotel was a wonderful surprise for us! There was a lovely bistro and plenty of conversation areas with televisions (watching the World Cup). Extremely comfortable and peaceful stay! Slightly hard to find.

One of the things I appreciate most is how genuinely pet-friendly they are. Whenever my dog, Apple, travels with me, the chef thoughtfully prepares a special chicken dish just for her. It’s an incredibly kind gesture that makes us both feel right at home. I stay at The Briarcliff every time I’m in Kansas City, and it never disappoints. Five stars every time! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming hotel with exceptional hospitality.

Everyone was very welcoming. We were in town for a concert that ended up being postponed due to weather so we were able to enjoy our evening with family on the terrace. Loved that they had a bar where we could purchase drinks and sit outside and enjoy time together. Whether got worse and tornado sirens went off and staff made sure that everyone was safe down stairs in a secured location. They went above and beyond bringing down water for those who were thirsty and helping reassure those who had a lot of anxiety.

The shower didn't work correctly n slowly drained

It thunderstormed terribly and water started pouring into our room from the window onto the floor next to our bed and the power was out all night long and then when I called to talk about getting our money back they were pretty rude about it all

We always stay at this location when we come to KC and our stay is always GREAT, it's always clean, the staff is always nice, very helpful, however not this time! We always stay at this location when we come to KC and our stay is always GREAT, however this time the young lady that checked me in never spoke to me when I approached he check in desk, was rude and when her manager finished helping the person she was with, then she decided she wanted to help me. NOW I'M FINDING OUT THAT MY CCARD HAS BEEN CHARGED TWICE! WHY! PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS IMMEDIATELY!!

The hot tub didn't work which was one of the main reasons I booked.

The room I initially booked was still in the process of having the shower cleaned so I was upgraded are no cost to me to a suite... The room was immaculate.. the staff was not intrusive or nosy and the guests were also pleasent.. the hit tub was great and relaxing and the bistro was a godsend for my wife , whole is an early riser and Coffe/Starbucks connoisseur.. she got a large Starbucks coffee with a refill for 5 bucks and she didn't need to leave the hotel. The fire pit is beautiful.. and the view is breath-taking. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you so much !!!

The stay was wonderful. We arrived as a part of a volleyball group. They were quite accommodating.

Everything was perfect!
