Nice place. Clean and safe.

Large room and very clean. Warm pool

Most of the things were good in that location, except for the breakfast was simple, the pancakes machine was broken.

Breakfast was great, ladies were super sweet and helpful I got a room next to the kitchen/pantry it had a weird smell and on my first night that I got there from a long drive I wa super tired but kitchen staff woke me up since 5am. I called front desk to let them know they were making to much noice and I could hear their conversation and shutting doors, pans etc. The second day noise woke me up at 6am.

Free water was convenient and a nice gesture. Air conditioning didn't work well. It was set to 61 degrees but was no where near as cold as it should be for lowest temperature setting.

It was great. I will say the pool had a very strong chlorine smell and it hurt my eyes.

If you need to be downtown, this is a good place to stay. It is easy to get to and it's almost easier to go into downtown or come out of downtown than it is to drive around downtown. It's is also a good value. Only two types of hotels are actually downtown. They are either super expensive and nice or reasonable and dumps. You get something nice at a reasonable price here. Whenever we have a competition for cheerleading either in downtown or at Hy-Vee Arena, we stay here (so about twice a year).

Easy check in, friendly staff and comfy beds
