The staff were fine The rooms were dirty and poorly upkept. The place looked like it was under renovation both times we stayed there, but there were no signs of anything being completed or worked on. Dog food on the floor, the floor was not flat so the mini-fridge door couldn't open unless you tilted it back, they couldn't even be bothered to line the pictures up on the wall. The bathroom door was covered in all sorts of stains. The door was skewed so ot couldn't close or open without a lot of extra work. It smeeled like they tried to cover the scent of dogs and cigarettes by spraying perfume on the walls. Finally the "continental breakfast" was insulting, just a couple of packages of oatmeal and muffins thrown out, a thing of coffee and juice, and a pancake machine that didn't make pancakes even with a full bag of mix.

The Staff at this Hotel makes the stay….I could afford hotels that have a lot more amenities but the staff at this location are incredibly kind!!! The BEST EMPLOYEES!!!

The hotel smelled so inviting especially in the foyer and elevator Second day there was no pancakes or coffee availabile

Location was the ONLY plus in this experience. I didn’t expect an “Intercontinental experience” but this stay was BELOW subpar. Very disappointing. The hotel industry overall has plummeted in quality and service. This place was the epitome of what a bad hotel is and has become. This new shift in ownership/management is to a group of individuals that has limited to no knowledge of what quality customer service or friendliness to a paying patron is. There were NO smiles, flat monotone responses and a cold welcome. There was deposit upon check-in, even for credit card holders, of $200, which is not made clear when booking. So to a unknowing, unprepared traveler, that would be a huge inconvenience. In addition, check out is at 11am with a $25 per hour extended check out policy in which my group was charged for leaving the room at 11:05-11:10 even though housekeeping entered the room to clean while we were still in preparation to leave. These new owners are greedy and lack knowledge or seemingly the ability to provide good service. The Wyndham group needs to be aware that this will be their downfall and if this continues they will completely go under especially with other options wonderful for boarding for travelers. We will NEVER choose to patronize this hotel again. I hope this review is taken seriously and taken into careful consideration by management and the owners.

The bed sheets were clean but not the pillow cases. Thankfully there was warm water and 2 lamps worked. The TV didnt work especially on a football night, the smoke detector was hanging from a wire, the staff was not welcoming, one of the lamps didnt work, the lamps had ketchup stains.

It was close to the HWY. They lied about not finding my beverages in the room refrigerator. I also had a problem with the $200 deposit to stay. It’s not worth the 2.

Fast friendly service. Yummy breakfast. :) It smelled much like marijuana , even being non smoking facility.

Older hotel being renovated; overall great for value and likely going to improve more with time! Old, stained showers and broken chair at desk in room; door was hard to open/close but securely locked.

!? Did not get to stay due to no 1 bed but only 2 beds charged more. I refused. To pay more. I've already booked it they said they have it. Still you wouldn't refund me my money back only $11.00 came back.

Staff at desk. Free parking. Door screws coming out at room entry it dropped a good inch to the floor area. Lamp shades look like somebody smashed them. Holes in back of bathroom door, holes in wall where part of a rack for your towel should go . Staff offered to exchange us rooms. We. Were on a schedule for our anniversary plans. Staff said in December they will start remodelling. As a guest. The management needs to see each room he is selling . This falls on them. And no waffles.

The facility had a lot of homeless people, drug addicts in the parking lot, the halls reeked of marijuana. Cleanliness, better smell, better beds, decor in rooms, and the staff...

It was a good place for the value. It was close to where we needed to go downtown KC. The elevator was not working when we were there. The stairway needed some work or a good carpet cleaning.
