Super 8 by Wyndham Deerfield/Northbrook

I've stayed here whenever I have an art show in Northbrook. I haven't been back since 2019 and if the room I stayed in is typical to the others than the property has kind of gone down a bit... the in room phone did not work. The room had somewhere in tear with paint peeling, air conditioner vent was missing, so Air just blew out one direction directly at the bed. With the air conditioner on, you could barely hear the TV if I return next year to Northbrook, I will not be staying at this location.

This place was terrible. We arrived late at night after a long day of driving. We were informed the only room was a room with just one bed. We booked two beds because we are two adults. The staff was extremely unhelpful and basically told us we could take it or leave it. He was rude. He blamed everyone else. He couldn't tell me why I wasn't informed before almost midnight. They had my email and phone number. And of course, it was very late on a Saturday night near the airport. Not a single room was available anywhere near this hotel. Skip booking this place. They might leave you stuck without a bed.

As soon as I walked into my room I instantly seen cockroaches on wall and floor. Checked out immediately.

I asked for an ADA room with roll in shower. The first room we were given was not any of that, The elevator was very old, peeling carpet, Hallways were scary. They did give us the appropriate room after we complained. There was no coffee maker in the room and no Kleenex. The only highlight was that it was very close to the interstate,

I got bit by bed bugs! lol it’s cheap price for a cheap stay .-.

The hotel was a former Red Roof Inn. It is dated and needs a major sprucing up. The bed was not good- felt every spring in it. Parking was good. Staff was friendly. It is a three star hotel in need up some upgrades.

Simple bag to go breakfast of juice, yogurt, muffin. Lots of parking. Hard to locate hotel. Sign is very small.

Saw a bug in the bathroom upon arrival but other than that the room was clean and cold and comfy.

Nice staff. Not a hot breakfast. It got the job done on a tight budget.

It was a grab an go and it was good!

Location Facility was in disrepair. Holes in walls, not clean, bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was advertised... front desk gave you a brown bag with a muffin and a bottle of apple juice.

Nothing An insect that looked like a Roach in the bathroom that I managed to smash. After that the decision to have a breakfast was easy - if they have them in the bedroom I can imagine what is going on in the kitchen.
