The Watershed

The beds are firm , pillows are soft. There’s a mini-frig . The room is very spacious and the bathroom has a shower and bathtub. Amenities include: choice of 3 organic teas but the water bottles are priced at $3 , bath robe, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and , plenty of towels and washcloths. The slight noise from the train wasn’t a deal breaker it added context to the aesthetic of the property set in rustic foliage river valley . Now let’s get to the Cons: No microwave in room however there is a microwave in the lobby area. Also, there was water however I afore mentioned it was $3. It should be complementary for the stay, especially if you book a suite . There is a rooftop area with cabanas and lounge chairs you can access but the bar & music open only when there is an event. But & however, I do recommend you lodge here you will not be disappointed. Especially if you are searching for rest & relaxation.

Spacious and comfy room. Plenty of parking. Siena Ristorante made dinner easy (and yummy!) Like the laid back vibe they preach (and practice).

Breakfast was at bare minimum.

Amazing property

The Watershed is an oasis in an otherwise unexciting surrounding. It has a most welcoming and comfortable vibe as well as lovely rooms and public spaces. The rooftop area is an attractive and serene place for relaxing. Even the breakfast was unexpected lovely addition

We loved our stay there! It was close to Fairfield University. We stayed for our daughter’s orientation date and it was comfortable, clean, and a quick drive to the university. We will definitely be back for future stays when visiting.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. What a pleasant surprise.

Beautifully appointed but lack luster in service & care. Got in after 9p & front desk person said everything in the area was closed for food except delivery. We did Google search & found tons of things within 15 minute drive. Room was nice but cleaning could have been better (found things on floor & in bathroom that should have been cleaned up.) But bed was comfortable, shower was huge (need better shower head to accommodate the space given.) Breakfast was so-so: everything pre packaged except waffle maker. Rooftop should be used more as its beautiful. Just feels like this could be so much nicer if added the right touches.

Really lovely hotel at a very reasonable price point. We got upgraded immediately (without asking or thinking to ask) which was a nice touch. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious with lovely design choices. We only had cause to stay one night. I wish we could have stayed longer! We'll be back.

Meh. Hotel booked wrong dates to extend. The door key battery was broken.
