I was told about a refund and have yet to receive

Unfortunately, the property itself seems to need better maintenance. The hotel still relies on a satellite TV system, so our television didn’t work the first night because of the rain. Our air conditioning also failed, and it took about two hours to repair. This came after our room wasn’t ready at the advertised 3:00 p.m. check-in time, requiring us to wait about an extra hour. It appeared the resort may have been short-staffed. Our room also showed some signs of wear, with several chips and nicks in the furniture. In addition, it had connecting doors to the neighboring rooms. The doors were very thin and offered virtually no soundproofing, so we could clearly hear our neighbors’ conversations throughout our stay. To the manager’s credit, he apologized for the inconveniences and offered to move us to another room. However, because the resort was fully booked, we would have had to wait to see if another guest failed to arrive. Since we booked through Expedia, he explained that he couldn’t provide a refund directly. Instead, he offered Hyatt Bonus Points as a goodwill gesture. As of this writing, though, the points have not yet appeared in our account Overall, the staff did their best to make things right, but the resort could benefit from better maintenance and operational improvements by Hyatt

Beautiful property! Parking was kind of pain but would definitely stay here again.

The parking is very far away from the hotel itself. They do offer valet with room for about 25 cars in their roundabout though. The property itself is stunning and the room was perfect. The walk to their parking lot is about 10 mins and not a straight shot. If you are fully made up, in heels and going to an off site event, it’s a light cardio work out to get to the car. Not ideal for summer or winter weather conditions. The staff was lovely.

The hotel is lovely. The pool and hot tub are awesome. The grounds are beautiful. The only problem was that my reservation included breakfast and no one told me I was just supposed to give our room number at the restaurant. So we paid for breakfast. When I looked at my reservation and discovered it was supposed to include breakfast I spoke to someone at the front desk and after much discussion he said there was nothing he could do. Someone should have told me when I checked in. So frustrating. Easily prevented or remedied.

We stay at this property several times a year and we usually have a good stay. This one had several issues with room. However, the manager did call me back to make sure he addressed all of the issues with Housekeeping, Operations, etc. I was glad to see the genuine concern as I do intend to return to Hyatt Lodge.

Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. Only upon arrival was I notified that the hotel had overbooked for the weekend and since we booked through a third party (Hotels.com) our reservation did not take priority. The manager booked us another room in a different hotel and I was told the cost of the room would be taken care of by Hyatt. It was extremely disappointing and quite irritating that we were not notified sooner or given an option of hotel. We were booked at the Sleep Inn, which was a nice hotel, but definitely a down grade from what I had booked originally. The assistant manager agreed to take care of the Uber bill to get to the other hotel, but only after I asked. Although the situation was handled, he didn't seem to care at all for our inconvenience. He acted insincere in his apology. I will not be booking any more hotel stays at this location or through Hotels.com. I would advise the same.

The location was very nice. I paid for the room through booking.com, but upon checking out it was charged to my credit card meaning I paid twice.

The location was very clean and the location was perfect Nothing in particular

My favorite place to stay in Oakbrook! The staff is always wonderful, and the amenities are second and none!!
-
Amazing location, amazing amenities the pool was great the kids played all day. Very clean facilities.

The mattress on the bed in our room was terrible!!! For all the amenities and stuff, the hotel should still focus on having the best quality bed for their guest! My wife and I did not have a good night sleep at all.
