The Drake Hotel is located in the suburbs of Chicago. An hour from the downtown, but it it is a beautiful and classy place with the decorations and vibes of the Gatsby era- the 1920s-30s .

The hospitality here truly sets it apart—everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making the experience seamless. The property itself is stunning, featuring beautifully maintained grounds, a serene atmosphere, and an ambiance that feels both historic and refined. My room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway, a quiet retreat, or simply a place with unmatched character and top-tier service near the Chicago area, I cannot recommend The Drake Oak Brook enough. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Property, rooms, and fitness center were all great. Staff was very nice. The Lounge for dinner and drinks was great Vent fan in Room 202 did not work in bathroom but not a huge deal

Still a nice place to stay, but starting to feel “dated.” The air conditioning thermostat didn’t work very well. The room never got cool: I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot.

Such a beautiful property! I enjoyed the garden a lot and our room was absolutely beautiful. The concierge was very helpful and we were blessed with a late checkout. Will be back soon!

Decorated really cute and the outside garden and fountain area was beautiful. The bar area was really nice as well. The rooms were well-maintained.

The air conditioning units were so cranky and loud I was woken up every 20 minutes.
