Clean hotel and helpful staff. Breakfast had good options and everything was warm.

Rooms need a little updating which they are in the process of doing. Staff are courteous and friendly. Although the food choices are similar to other hotels, the complimentary breakfast is much better quality. We like the suites and having separate rooms, the kitchen and more space. We have stayed here in the past and specifically picked this hotel while visiting Chicago even though a little further out from our son’s home.

The size of the room. I’m writing this in the middle of the night while still at the hotel after being woken up by the fire alarm and having to evacuate. Fire trucks came and everything, although there was no fire, or at least no explanation offered. The worst part: I’m staying with my cat and when the alarm went off he, naturally, freaked out and ran into a corner where he stepped on a glue trap for mice/bugs that was on the floor. It got stuck to his skin and fur and we had to rip it off him as we were evacuating, which was very painful for him. Terrible to have glue traps down when the accommodations are advertised as “pet-friendly” for this very reason. Do better, Staybridge! The room itself was run down and somewhat dirty, although it was quite large. There was an overwhelming floral scent in the room, as if someone had dumped an entire bottle of perfume right before we arrived. The smell triggered our allergies and asthma. Needless to say, we have gotten zero sleep, which is devastating after a fourteen-hour international flight the day before. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at any price, much less the one we paid.

It was a very quiet hotel. The room was very clean and I had everything I needed with the kitchen.

We had a great time. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and maintained. Staff was okay, but it difficult to speak with many of them as they didn’t understand English. The only thing needing improvement was the breakfast. I arrived at 8:55 and the food line was stripped of everything but cottage cheese and bread. The two ladies working were more interested in cleaning up in advance of the 9:30 shutdown than making sure the line was stocked (at least that’s how it appeared). Outside that, it was a nice stay.

we booked a 2 bedroom suite for 5 nights visiting both Chicago and SF Great America, the in-suite kitchen had an extremely LOUD dishwasher and a stove that does not work, room furniture was a little worn down but comfortable, the hotel is going through renovations so hopefully the room issues will be fixed soon biggest problem we had was major parking problem with not enough spaces, every single night we ended up parking on the street maybe 8 minutes walk away with the lot always full

The room itself was nice! The front desk staff were very rude! I arrived about 3 hours before check in, and I asked at that time for my 2 rooms to be on the same floor. The gentleman said no problem! I return at 4:30-5 to check in, and new desk attendant and. She said sorry no we can’t put u on the same floor. I wasn’t happy. And she did noting to try to accommodate! Wasn’t pleasant at all. I’ve stayed. At several Staybridge properties in various states and this one left me very disappointed! I will never stay at this Staybridge again.

Breakfast was good but we stayed there for 8 days and 7 nights and the second day we were at the table in the kitchenette playing cards and the whole 6 nights we were bitten by fleas we did notify the management and they were coming in the room to spray we were gone almost the whole day and came back still got bitten by the fleas if we were not uncomfortable about getting bitten it would have been a nice stay

No parking spaces is a problem
