Howard Johnson by Wyndham Ocala FL I-75

Telephone system didn't work so you could call the desk. They only put 2 towels in a room for a family of 4, then said they ran out of towels when asked for additional. The carpet in the rooms was aborably dirty. When we spilt a little water from our cooler, we used a towel to clean it up. It came up black (not gray). We made everyone wear shoes all the time after that. The place seemed freshly painted. Staff was nice & pleasant. Pool was cloudy. You couldn't see your feet in 3 feet of water.

Bugs in bathroom a lot of noise all night from room next door. Not very clean.

I checked out around 10:30 give or take. At approximately noon I figured out I had left my wallet in the hotel room. I immediately called the front desk and explained to the gentleman who answered my problem. He asked me to hold and he would ask housekeeping. After a couple minutes he told me that yes my wallet was in the room along with a white plastic bag with chargers and some medicine. I asked him to please secure it and I would pick it up in 3 days on my way back through Ocala. I was so thankful that the employees were honest. They were also very accommodating to hold my “life” in my wallet. I retrieved it on Monday and my wallet and the contents of my plastic shopping bag were all intact. I applaud this Howard Johnson for all the employees who chose honesty! It is rare these days. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Our first room was loaded with German cockroaches. The front desk moved us immediately and apologize profusely second room was good.

I reported the issue to the front desk, but I was not satisfied with how it was handled. Cleanliness and guest safety should be a top priority, and this experience did not meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend staying here until these pest problems are properly addressed.

Most of the staff were excellent and super helpful. The facilities are clean and kept in good condition for the most part. The only complaint I have is that some of the door entry handles need replacing as they don't read the key cards well. Also, there was shortage of linens when I requested more. Otherwise, a very good experience.

I liked that it had a pool and mini golf to keep us busy

its ok just for a nite. There was alot of mold ob ceiling, specially in bathroom. The sheets were dirty with stains and something on them, that seems like they did not wash or properly wash, was yucky. Towels smelled musky and pool area was not inviting. Not as pictures described. will not be coming back to this hotel.

1 bug in room Pool n hot tub was clean Room. Was clean . Free breakfast and ac kicked ass! Friendly staff .. Pizza was gud ..

The bathroom had mold around the windows and something bite in my sleep. The only thing for breakfast was waffle, coffee and yogurt.

Perfect room, great air conditioning, and excellent hot breakfast!

We opened our door for the first time and roaches scattered. We didnt stay here after that. Quick door open and leave.

I was traveling with my baby and did not feel comfortable or safe staying in the room. As a result, I had to leave and pay for another hotel. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again.

Checked in and air conditioner had a puddle of water under it. Let staff know and was told that it was condensation from it not being turned on and I was given towels to clean it up. AC never cooled room down and woke up at 4 AM covered in sweat. Asked front desk to change rooms and was told no King Size bed room was available at that time and To try back around 9. Changed to another room around 12 PM to later discover there were roaches in the room.

The room and motel were expected. One employee seemed to have an attitude whenever you talked to her.

We had gotten an upgraded room to be poolside but when we went into the room it smelled very strongly of mildew.

Very disappointed with the stay. The room was not clean and had a bad odor. The air conditioning was not effective enough, especially during the night. On top of that, I noticed bugs in the room, which made the experience even worse. The hotel seriously needs to improve cleanliness and maintenance.
