Ashore Oceanfront Hotel, Ocean City, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

For years, this has been my favorite hotel because of the convenience of having umbrellas, beach chairs, and towels provided. That has changed drastically: they are no longer supplying towels, and the supply of umbrellas is very low—insufficient to meet the needs of even 15 rooms. I find this completely ridiculous, and as a customer, I am thoroughly dissatisfied and strongly object to this situation.😭😭😭

Not a great hotel for someone traveling with a handicap senior adult. My mother walks, but there was no elevator available for use to the ground floor to go to the pool and beach. Also no restroom on the ground floor at the pool. She had to climb the stairs multiple times and her hips were giving out. When I chose this hotel it did say that it was handicap accessible. Also she takes extra time getting ready and I requested extra time for checkout and only 1/2 an hour was honored. I would return to this hotel only if not traveling with someone with a handicap.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious but had very little electric outlets with minimal usb ports. Beach was very close and food was good.

The only complaint we had was the slow service at the restaurant/bar area by the pool. I waited about 10 minutes without being greeted or helped. 3 staff members behind the bar. During that time, other guests came up to the bar and were helped before me, and it seemed like there wasn’t a clear system for keeping track of who was next. After waiting about 15 minutes, I eventually walked away without being served. Aside from that experience, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

The property was beautiful. It never felt crowded. Loved every thing about the property.

Very clean and smelled amazing. O had to continuously ask for my room to be cleaned daily and for basic necessities to be replaced as needed. Some staff didn’t acknowledge my family in a friendly manner.

Everything was excellent from the staff, to the access to the beach. Ashor is a definite recommended stay.

Hotels in general should allow for earlier check in, 4pm check in is so late.

Excellent room. Restaurants and beach staff were superb. Food was exceptional. Some difficulty communicating with cleaning staff; language barrier.

Clean hotel, super easy parking, free umbrella and beach chairs. Friendly staff. We'll be back!

Only two cons: the bed wasn’t very comfortable and there wasn’t a full length mirror in the room. Otherwise, an overall excellent experience. We look forward to visiting again next year.
