Crystal Sands Motel

The staff was very helpful especially Ben and his wife. Just had a hiccup on upstairs neighbor they are loud but after complaining to the management they we're able to resolve the issue. All in all, my husband and I had a wonderful trip. This hotel is near the beach just a block away, even we don't have a view but the beach and boardwalk is so close to the hotel. Nearby restaurants too. Definitely would love to go back.

Parking was TERRIBLE!! The parking lot is too small to accommodate all the guests and most of the spaces are only big enough for compact cars. If you have a truck or SUV for the beach, you will find it very difficult to park. There is an overflow lot, but it is a couple blocks away. Also, the rooms need deadbolt locks on the doors. The doorknob locks are very unsecure. There is no coffee or coffee maker available in the rooms and no bath soap in the shower. Other than that, the rooms are nice and clean.

The guy who owns the property is extremely nice. The place was very clean and they had a Roku flatscreen TV, which made things a lot easier for chilling out in the hotel room. I actually really liked the hotel and appreciated that the staff was very helpful.

Very cheap and a 30 second walk to the beach

Staff were nice, gave a good restaurant suggestion. Upon entering the apartment we were bombarded with flies. 5 killed immediately. Floors were dirty, window in room looked out on garbage dump. Bed was horrible, no mattress pad cover, very uncomfortable. Metal framed squeaked every time I got up. Felt as if we were sleeping in a tin can. 6am above occupants were yelling. Can’t say they woke us up, we were already up due to worst bed ever. “Towels” were disgusting. We’re once white, now dingy gray, more like old worn out dishcloths. Not full size towels. I wouldn’t dry a dog with them.How this property was given a 9 point rating is beyond belief. Really shameful, had to book 2 subsequent nights at a different hotel, thank God. Again staff were nice enough, place was horrible. Very sad, feel duped by your site also.

The property was quiet, clean, and in a good location. The only thing that comes to mind is that the room could have had a little more storage space for clothes.

Room was dated but clean. AC worked, hot water was abundant. Bed was comfortable with 3 pillows per bed. My wi-fi signal was spotty. Very personable front desk attendant. Ben made you feel at home and gave you the sense of anything you needed he would take care of. Excellent location along the boardwalk. The cost of our three night stay was VERY reasonable. Parking was small in front of the property, however there was plenty of free parking within walking distance!

Really good place to stay, especially mid-week during the summer months. Well maintained and clean as a whistle! The parking is limited but there's free parking on the streets nearby. I'll definitely stay here again.

The friendly staff, the clean and spacious rooms, great location of breakfast spots and the beach. The parking. It is crazy to only have 12 parking spots out front of the property, and additional parking in a sketchy parking lot. Street parking was fine. Would have been a perfect stay if had better parking.

The staff was so welcoming and the hotel and location were definitely worth the price!

Close walk to the beach. Approximately 1 block from the beach. Room updated and very clean. Easy to get in touch with management if we needed something. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was good!
