Crystal Sands Motel

The location was perfect and the room was very clean. Staff was very accommodating considering we were in the middle of a major nor'estern. We came down for the Ocean's Calling Festival that ultimately was canceled. Staff worked with us and we're kind enough to fully refund our last night's stay since we early due to the storm. I wouldnt say we didn't like things, but know this is a basic motel with basic amenities. Although super clean, bathroom is tiny and dated. No extra toliet paper (we ran out 2nd day) and would have been great to have tissue in the room.

The closeness of the beach.

Loved how close it was to the beach and there is parking Not anything specific we did not like. It’s a smaller older facility but it has been updated. It had everything we needed and we were very comfortable

The facility staff was very helpful, they helped my wife get parked up front and were very polite. The management takes great care of the rooms and grounds, I was very please with the cost and the room that was provided. The kitchenette was helpful to have with updated appliances. All in all I would recommend them, you only have to walk across the street to the beach and boardwalk. Definitely will be returning customers.

The staff was 100% the best, very helpful and nice, I just finished a 8 hour fishing trip and I know I smelled like the ocean +, not even a turned up nose, they are the best, I'll be rebooking for a future trip in about 2 months

We've stayed at this property previously and returned because we had such a great experience. Ben and Janelle are absolutely fantastic. They make sure that you have everything you need. Most of the rooms have had updates or renovations and are probably the nicest I've seen at any motel. Proximity to the water is fantastic - just a short block away. Starbucks is across the street and CVS is one block back if you need anything. Definitely eat at Papi's, which is one block away as well. Parking is tight, but they have overflow parking nearby and explained how parking in OC works and where there were often spots right near the hotel. We didn't have any issue as Ben helped me park our giant vehicle in a corner spot!

The front desk staff was very nice. The room was very clean and location was a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk. We had a great stay and I will book with them again!
