Sahara Motel

Parking was good. Room was clean. AC worked well. Check in was a bit rough my room was not ready at 4pm waited 20 mins pass 4 pm and then left and came back a little after 5 pm and it was ready at that time.

Hotel is older but no issues pool trash cld have been cleaned up daily but then again stayers should have cleaned up their own trash perfect location for the beach

The rooms a very clean. Had the option of two pools to swim in. We had an issue with the shower, they relocated us to another room, until the shower was finished. We enjoyed our stay!! I will be returning!

The best part about this motel is the location. They are in need of a major upgrade in the oceanfront building (probably all buildings but can’t speak to them). There is NO early check in and when 4pm rolled around, it was a mad house at the front desk. Plan to be there for at least 20 minutes, everything is paper and they have to send people to check if the room is ready. This was 4th of July weekend, so that could add too it, but still very slow and people were annoyed. Room could’ve been a lot cleaner, pillows did not have cases, but there was no weird smell as some say. AC is not very cooling and oceanfront parking lot is a very tight squeeze. Housekeeping staff was very helpful as well, even though there was a language barrier. I would stay again for the price, but would prefer somewhere else. Location outweighs the cons.

The hotel is old the walls are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING it’s so loud in your room. The pools are all dirty. The shower didn’t drain maintenance didn’t come until check out. TV in room didn’t work front desk was able to fix to get 8 channels. The ice machine was constantly empty. Only benefit is close to boardwalk and beach

Everything was clean, beds were comfy, parking was easy and right near the room, check in was a breeze. Super close and convenient to the beach

We talked to the front desk multiple times about needing assistance with towels and housekeeping nothing was done even after they said it would be taken care of. I stayed here with my family for 3 days and 2 nights in the West building, when I walked into my room the room smelt terrible. No washcloths nor towels were ever bought to our room, I am very disappointed in my stay, will not be returning to this hotel.

Real good air-conditioning and the staff was polite and friendly

Great location. Helpful staff. It’s an older property, and it shows some signs of age. But the price and location make up for that. If you have mobility issues, ask for a first floor room. The stairs are steep.

Bathroom was not cleaned at all during my stay.

Clean. Close to the beach. Affordable. Close to the boardwalk and fun activities for kids.

We ate breakfast at the Sahara cafe and the Chunky Monkey was fabulous! Would stay here again if I return.

The sink and bathtub were clogged,it was time consuming to brush your teeth. The maid service took dirty towels n wash cloths and didnt leave new ones for us.
