The property was fine. But Expedia did not tell me that the resort fee was not included in the final price and I had to pay a additiional $33.00 at check in.

This is our third year going there. We love that it’s kid oriented and the adults also have fun .

I really enjoyed our little family vacation at Francis Scott Keys. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities are perfect for a family. The location is also extremely close to the boardwalk with great food choices nearby

The pictures are not as it seems! We had to drive to the indoor pool, which is at the back of the property. On the way there we passed the outdoor pool and all of the other buildings which are named after certain states. There are also some private houses, not sure how to book those. There is plenty of parking at the indoor pool area. The arcade is also inside and a small window for snacks. The pool is sectioned, but there is a volleyball court in the biggest part which is still rather small, so if you aren’t playing then you really have no where to swim. On the way back to the room we passed be the playground which is so old and ran down, there is no way a child should be playing there. We didn’t bother to look for the mini golf!! They have movie nights at 6 & 8 - we skipped that so I can’t comment. The pizza restaurant was cool, prices seem reasonable. This could be a really nice returnable place to stay 2 miles to the beach, outlets across the street.

My only complaint from this visit was the outdoor hot tub. There are clearly posted signs stating that no one under 14 is allowed, yet every day the hot tub was filled with young children swimming, splashing, and treating it more like a pool. This made it difficult for adults to actually relax and enjoy the hot tub. What was most frustrating was that a staff member was regularly in the area and would come over to turn the jets back on when they shut off, so he was clearly aware of what was happening. Unfortunately, he seemed more focused on sitting and being at his phone than enforcing the posted age restriction. We still love staying here and will continue to come back, but I really hope management does a better job enforcing the hot tub rules. If a rule is important enough to be clearly posted, guests should be able to expect it to be enforced—especially when it affects everyone else's ability to enjoy the amenities.

good place to stay. We had a great time.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms had a smell to it not sure what it was but we kept on putting room spray so that helped while we stayed there. The bus shuttle was a plus to go to the board walk.

We came to stay here for my daughter’s 7th birthday and it had everything we needed on the resort, pool, splash pad for my 2 year old, bar for the adults in the crew and restaurant that had amazing BBQ chicken pizza. They left enough towels and washcloths upfront so we didn’t have to ask for more. We were able to make breakfast in our rooms to save money. All in all it a great time!

The front desk was very busy, but pleasant. I wish there was more information given at the desk. Including the shuttle info/schedule. It could be added to the map. It’s a lot to have them to repeat to every guest. We were in the main building directly up the stairs. There was an immediate change in temp. The door at the end of the hall was left open to the outside. So it stayed hot. The room was freezing with no way to control the unit. We didn’t have a microwave like pictured. The bathroom had a vent to the ceiling that just blew in hot stinky air right were you stood at the sink. A simple magnetic vent cover would take care of that. The sink is extremely small. Barely enough room to put a toothbrush on. Let a lot set anything else down. The mirror was so short I had to bend down to look into it. To wash your hands or brush your teeth the sink would completely back up with water. The same with the shower. Even with the shower head with the three holes. Barely any water comes out and it still backs up. You get two thin sheets and a microfiber blanket to hopefully not freeze since there is no temp control. For almost $900 foe TWO NIGHTS I am less than impressed. The amenities are nice for kids and staff was nice. But the room was SEVERELY lacking. I loved that they show different movies every evening. New each day and showtime. Great to relax in the recliners after a hot day at the beach/boardwalk with a fresh hot pizza from the restaurant!

Plenty of parking available, which was great for us. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice for days that we didn’t want to venture off the property. It’s close enough to places to walk to quite a few restaurants for any meal of the day. The shuttle from the property to the island is great if you don’t want to deal with driving through beach traffic as well. There are a few other amenities we did not use, like the arcade and the movie theater, but the amount of kid friendly activities makes it worth it to stay here. We have been here a few times and it’s been great every time. There were also a few new additions like PJ’s Pizzeria, which was delicious.

    Loved it

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The staff was wonderful. I loved that it was family friendly. The shuttle to the beach was a great touch. We felt close enough to the beach but it was a little quieter and away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk while still being able to access the beach and boardwalk easily.

Also, you can hear everything! Everyone walking, everyone talking. Beware if you are not a sound sleeper.

I like the property but it was dated and the room TV was smaller.

Great for families! My children had plenty to do to keep them busy. Indoor pool was there favorite.
