Francis Scott Key Family Resort

Staff were friendly and professional. The check-in & check-out process was easy. Rooms and facilities were clean, well kept and maintained. The resort had numerous amenities suitable for all ages. We would absolutely stay there again!

It was a nice place alittle dated but great for families, alot to do and very well located. Shuttle was a great option to go into town and drivers were very friendly. Overall a great visit

The place was family friendly found stains on the mattress covers. And the beds are horrible, u can hear the people above you and the people walking or running on the porch. The couch look like it was found at a dumpster. We used the extra sheet to cover the couch so out 1 year old baby won't be playing on the bare dirty looking couch. No blankets or working ice machines.bwe stayed in room 2415 carolina and the dead bolt on the door still allowed u to open the door which was a issue with a 1 year old who touches everything so we had to us the chain lock which we still had to place the table there to secure the door from the inside. The pool was fun need a little sweep around. But u see the house keeper trying. Need to upgrade amenities.

The bar/ snack bar in the inside pool needs the appliances fixed or replaced. The lady behind the counter was very nice , pleasant and accommodating. She was working very hard to satisfy us because our order was taking very long and never got done. Our money was refunded. There was a lot of weed being smoked. Constantly the odor would come into our room. The odor was all around us. You could smell it coming out of the cars driving by. It was horrible. Not the medical marijuana, it was the skunk smelling kind. Very disappointed in the motel.

We love the outdoor and indoor pool options. The shuttle to the beach is awesome.! The food at the diner inside the resort is delicious. Had a little struggle getting fresh sheets for the bed after a few calls.

I appreciated that the resort offers both indoor and outdoor pools and is in a great location — close enough to enjoy Ocean City without dealing with the chaos of staying in the city itself. I also liked that guests can continue using the facilities until 3 PM after checkout. What gives me pause about returning is the rule against water toys. We weren’t allowed to bring our divers or paddle board, which was disappointing since having those makes the experience more fun after a while.This was our first visit, and I felt the check‑in staff didn’t seem interested in sharing information about the resort. It would have been helpful to know about the shuttle schedule, the ability to stay until 3 PM, and other amenities. Better training for the check‑in team would make a big difference.I also think the resort should remind guests about quiet hours. The people next to us had their TV extremely loud both nights, all night. We eventually said something ourselves, but it would be better if the hotel reinforced the no‑loud‑music‑after‑10‑PM policy.

The property is a little dated but great for families.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here! The property was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family. It was a great place for us to relax and spend time together. We especially appreciated that it was family-friendly and accommodating for our group. Parking was convenient, and the overall location worked well for everything we wanted to do. The property matched our expectations and helped make our trip and my mom’s 70th birthday celebration even more special. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable place to stay.
