Francis Scott Key Family Resort

Staff and hotel were great.

Clean room, good staff, family friendly (specially if you have young kids), enough parking for everyone.

The welcome packet also contained outdated information. It directed us to get mini golf clubs from the front desk, but we were told we should have gone to the pool instead. There were signs advertising ice cream by the pools, but none was available anywhere on the property. The indoor pool concession stand was also closed the entire time. We also had issues with the on-site restaurant. They forgot several items from our order and had us return to pick them up instead of delivering them. The strangest part was checkout morning. Around 10 a.m., with a Do Not Disturb sign on our door and checkout not until 11, an employee from the pizza restaurant knocked to ask if we were leaving that day. It was confusing and unnecessary. Overall, if you can book this hotel at a great price, it may be worth it. However, I wouldn’t pay the premium summer rates again, as the rooms, amenities, and overall experience didn’t match the cost.

Great spot for a family vacation!

Its a nice well maintained property. Lots of amenities outdoor pool was great, indoor as well. The shuttle service was great its just that the last one to pick up back to the resort is before 10pm. There is no breakfast at the resort but we stayed at the cottage which is really nice and has a kitchen and friz. The pizza place is a great place to have a last min plan to eat( open 11 am to 11pm). We enjoyed our stay. Not tooo far from the beach, its not walkable please.

The family resort was really amazing and had everything there. The traffic was so bad on the 4th of July weekend that thank god that the resort had so many amenities cause you really didn't want to leave to the resort to be stuck in traffic for hours. The visitors and staff were very friendly and had you feeling comfortable immediately.

The room had no table to eat on, Moldy smells in and near the bathroom and the kitchenette I booked with the room was a refrigerator and small microwave

The rooms were very nice and clean. The inside pool was the best to avoid the Sun and heat. PJ's pizzeria everything on the menu was delicious. Will definitely come again.

Room wasn’t too clean, no provided toiletries (asked for toothpaste and they didn’t stock), the bath drain was super slow and I was showering in a puddle. Sink water was cold the whole time.

Place was a Catfish, and definitely not a “resort” absolutely not worth the price.

My kids loved the outdoor pool!! The indoor pool was nice too just very hot and humid. We didn't spend much time there. The Pina Coladas were amazing and so refreshing! The bartenders were nice. The room was clean and kept the clean smell the entire 3 night stay even after eating in it. The check in building smelled so badly like mold. This was the one and only reason we did NOT eat any food from the pizza place. We also did not attend the nightly movies. We avoided the entire building the whole stay! Thank God our hotel room didn't smell like that or we would have left.

I had good time with my kids 3 days it was fun my kids so happy pls if u have kids this your place definitely i will visit again

The shuttle ride to and from the boardwalk was very convenient. They have a restaurant also that close at 11pm if you're hungry on the premises. No need to travel far for anything. Everything you need is within a few minutes' drive. Gas station nearby also that opens 24 hours that's walking distance. I think this is a great location.

It was my first time at Francis Scott Key, and I made the right decision because my grandson loved ❤️ it everything about this place was perfect No complaints

Everything eas good except that there were ants in my room. On the bed. The staff offered for us to move but it was 11pm and I had 2 kids it was too much. Do the next day they sprayed and changed the sheets. Then that night we only saw one ant and it was in the other bed. Everything else was fine except that.

The pools were great. Although it said they were heating or atleast the one but they were all freezing. The hot tub was luke warm. The shuttle was timely. The bartender was good. The staff was nice. Old and outdated. Didn’t like being on the top floor with the stairs. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable but worst of all was the thin scratchy blankets. The air worked well but was so loud. The units are super old. The food at the pool was all really bad. We didn’t like the bracelets. There was no way to take them on and off. We had two rooms. The one rooms couch bed was broken. There were no curtains in the one so the light from the hallway shined through all night, we had to put a bunch of our clothes up. There’s an oven that took double the time to heat the food and there was no baking pan so I had to use only foil and burnt myself. Freezing pools and cold hot tub. No cups for the coffee machine.

Walls are too thin

We had a great stay. Resort was awesome and our shuttle driver Denette was the best she treated us like family. Everything was great.

Which seems odd given the cost of the stay For the price of the stay we’re not met by any means
