It was extremely expensive. There was a storm and oceans crawling was canceled and we still had to pay an insane price.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel, including the rooms were very clean. My only complaint being that when I returned from swimming in the pool one afternoon, that my room door was propped open by the housekeeping staff, with none of them in sight. I stood by for several minutes to see if anyone would return or was keeping an eye on the room, but nobody did. This was a little disconcerting as I had left valuable camera equipment along with my wallet, in the room while swimming. Nothing was missing but these actions left the room unsecure and anyone in the hotel could have easily gained access to it!

Everything was exactly how we expected. The staff was wonderful! Room was right where we were hoping for. No problem with our dog being with us. The pool area was great. The lady doing the breakfast was very happy and entertaining. We enjoyed it every morning talking with her. I loved my jacuzzi tub it was so relaxing. It was a safe and perfect area to stay. We were local to all our favorite food places. Local to the Ocean with the Wild Horses. Of course that was my favorite part of the day. No problem getting towels and everything we needed. We will definitely be staying here next year again. This was our second year.

What happened to the ,.."customer is always right?" Pet friendly place and I had a holler next door, owners left alone?!? I complained to the desk Friday night/Saturday/Sunday nights. Desk put the onus on Expedia blaming the "third part" who booked me stating I should have asked to move my room?!? Three complaints I guess didn't do it and they did nothing about the holing dog. Then the maids in the hallway talking/calling (loud voice) to each other/slamming the doors as they clean going inn/out really made it difficult to sleep in but hey, I'm just the customer. Asked for compensation at the desk upon checkout while playing the video of the holing dog and was told it was Expedia's fault for booking me in that room. I should have known better, can't and won't recommend this dump unless you own an animal. BUT be certain I will never ever stay here again and may consider the same for the chain cuz, after all, I'm just the customer

The location of the hotel is very convenient and helped to get a good rate at the end of the season. That is a major plus to a family of four. My family and I will be keeping this hotel as an option in the future. We were only there for one night, so it was just a place to sleep and get cleaned up after a fun summer day. It is a good location and is very close to shops and restaurants. There is a cute breakfast shop very close to the hotel if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

The room was a great rate, I was impressed with our clean and spacious pet friendly room. We did like the location and how it was close to so much. Having a pet area, playground, arcade, gym, breakfast and pool were really great features. The tv had good choices for family during down time. The downfall were the other guests. 2 nights in a row people were throwing parties and blasting music at 3am so I got very little sleep. It smelled like pot and outside there were cigarettes and trash scattered around. Again this was due to the other guests and not the hotel. The hotel was great. I would stay there again. Maybe they can consider an espresso machine for the tired parents.

The interior of the hotel was clean for a resort well used hotel. The room was obviously worn but livable. The hotel next door was $84 more per night. This hotel was well worth those savings.

It seems as if there has been a change in mgmt. They now allow pets where last year they didn't. Someone's dog was barking incessantly. (Not blaming the dog, since it was a new environment for them, too. Just wish I knew they changed their policy.

Main reason for 3 starts was due to a strong musty odor in my room. Other than that, it was for the price point just above average.

Have stayed here 5 other times and excellent experience. Not this time. Told management changed.

Could have been better

When booking, hot breakfast, pool, and near the boardwalk was a must and it check all the boxes. Typical hotel breakfast, pool open through Sept 20, and 5 mins drive to boardwalk.
