I love this place. Room were clean, staff were friendly and the pool was amazing!

Location is fantastic, outdoor pool/sitting area/pool bars are great, fire pit is very nice, room had a full kitchen which was a pleasant surprise, we had one issue with the HVAC unit and it was fixed within an hour of us notifying the front desk. We would definitely stay here again.

It was good what we needed it for. However, $10 a day for parking is absurd for what we paid for. Rooms were musky, pillows uncomfy. They advertise free breakfast but you actually only get a voucher to the Italian restaurant that is VERY SLOW. They advertise kids eat for free, but it’s only with certain meals. Only 2 kids, and you have to remind them and check the bill. Kids enjoyed. Had fun in the pool and swim up bar. Loved the flavored water in lobby every day.

Its the only hotel we choose to stay at in OC... still hasnt changed after this year. Always a pleasure to stay here.

Location Bathroom NO ventilation and everything was always wet. Pool bar & restaurant hours where absolute absurd!!

Hotel was ran down, for the price was not impressed. Staff was great and pool area with bar. Inside hotel it had a weird smell. Just disappointing, was expecting more

Overall yes I’d return, but somethings that need work. We had a 5 day 4 night stay. 3 days we had to ask for items that should have been replenished by housekeeping after they were in our room. (Towels, wash rags & soap). Of the 3 EV chargers in the parking lot only 1 works and of that 1 only 1 cord works. So there should be 6 charging stations but there’s only 1 functioning. Also we had water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen room 113. (They did send maintenance within 5-10 mins of me reporting it and corrected about 10 mins after they were in our room.) the staff was really kind and helpful. With these minor issues corrected it would be a 5 star for me.

Good location and no parking issues. Allowed groups to be noisy in the outdoor common area up to midnight.

Never got our room cleaned one day. Had to go look for clean towels and no wash cloths available

The pool staff was the highlight of the hotel. Plenty of staff checking in on us. Plenty of clean towels circulated. The amenities were great. The bathroom was a bit lack luster and it held water. The phones do not work to call front desk. But the TVs were great.

The hot tub was nice and the pool bar had good drinks convenient

The property and room was immaculate. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall extremely happy with our stay. Wonderful pool area. Decent restaurant. Would stay again

Great location, clean, great staff. The pool is wonderful and beach is steps away. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery, liquor store and ice cream. This place checks all the boxes.

The king suite describes the room as a separate bedroom. The pictures all appear the same for every room even when the descriptions change. I called the hotel to verify the room layout. A woman at the fronts desk said the king suites were a true one bedroom with the bedroom separated from the kitchen/living by a door. We booked the hotel with our daughter and our in-laws booked a room as well. When we arrived, we quickly learned the rooms are not one bedrooms with a door. I went to the front desk to ask. A woman at the front desk again described that king suites had a separate door but regular king rooms did not. She said this holiday inn did not have king suites (only 17th street holiday inn does) and that we had a regular king room. However, when you go to the holiday inn website or hotels.com (which we used) both call the room a king suite. Had we been given correct information, we would not have booked this hotel. Putting our daughter to bed in the same room meant we sat silent pretty early in the night. It was exactly like those air bnb commercials showcasing how awful hotel stays can be.

One of the highlights was the excellent access to both the beach and the pool area. I especially loved watching the sunrise from our room each morning. There were a couple of concerns, however. The pool water appeared cloudy during our stay, which made me question whether the chemical balance was being properly maintained. Because of that, we chose not to spend much time in the pool. Additionally, one night around 2:00 a.m., a group of people who did not appear to be hotel guests somehow gained access to the fire pit area and were playing loud music and causing a disturbance. A quick call to the front desk resolved the issue promptly, and we appreciated the staff’s response. That said, it did leave us wondering how the situation was not identified and addressed before guests had to report it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and beautiful beachfront location. With a little more attention to pool maintenance and overnight security, this would have been a five-star experience.
