Tru by Hilton Ocean City Bayside

The room was ready before check in time. You could smell the cleanliness as we entered. The staff was nice and accommodating we will be staying here again! Very beautiful property.

Nice clean and comfy beds

On The Strip, which makes getting in and out a bit of a pain in the rear, but the rest of the experience was magnificient. Walking distance to the beach. Free breakfast with a decent selection, and other foods available for purchase 24/7. The rooms are... efficient. But there's a little bit of everything: a bench, a small desk, TV, etc. No dresser, but a few hooks to use. Decor was Mod, all of it. It's like a modern version of the '60s in there. It's like if ht e'60s and the 2010s had a baby. Walking distance to plenty to do other then the beach. Pool in the building helped wehn the weather turned (I like to swim). Wasn't huge but big enough. Nice views from the pool balcony. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Clean property. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The pool was nice, but kind of dirty and the water was full of sand. The water was green instead of clear blue. The breakfast was horrible. The same food items every single day. No fresh fruits. Overall our stay was good, it was the most affordable option and the hotel itself it’s relatively on the newer side.

I love that hotel proximity was close to beach.

The front desk clerk when I checked in. The bed frames are dangerous! The stick out and you bumped your knees when walked by. Someone is going to get seriously hurt. It’s a no frills hotel in a popular resort area and the price was too high for what you get! No closets, no coffee in the room, two tissues in the box, and the breakfast was minimal. This was my second bad experience at a Tru hotel, they will not get a third chance.

Location, staff and services. Room did not sufficient space to put away luggages. They could have more space for storage.

Hilton Tru is a nice hotel. Good amenities. Staff nice. However hotel is a bit overcrowded with guest. Morning breakfast extremely overcrowded no room to sit. Many guests had to bring their food back to their rooms. Our bathroom door was broken . Did not open or shut all the way.

We never received room service and were there with kids for four day! I had to keep going to get toilet paper and towels with wash cloths. Had to get the conditioner refilled because it was empty when we arrived.

Location At check in the computer system was down. I was told our balance would be charged at checkout. The very next morning at 645 am, people came into our room with a key! Said they were booked in this room. We had a 6 year old child in our room, this was highly inappropriate and broke all feelings of safety. Then at 7 am, a front desk person was pounding on my door saying I'm not booked! I went to the front desk at around 8am. She pulled the booking and said I was marked as a no show! She was the only helpful person the entire trip. Our keys stopped working 3 different times in 4 days. Housekeeping never came to our room at all. The only thing we were given as an apology was $50 off our room! Oh, and some chips and 2 bottles of water. Safety is a main priority when traveling and that was breached. We will not stay at this location ever again. For a Hilton branded hotel, they do not meet the standards I've experienced in previous Hilton hotels.
