DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean City Oceanfront

Very very dirty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience. I paid premium price for ocean view but they gave ne ground floor so dunes were visible mainly and partially ocean. Picture in booking page showed better view. It was deceiving. Paid $806/night . Requested front desk two times but they did not entertain my request. Never staying in this hotel nor recommending anyone.

Great place if you're not on the 1st floor or next to the pool. Constant flow of people and noises. We were moved to a higher floor which was much better.

Location , ocean front, clean Clean, accessible to the beach and board walk

Location was perfect The room I was in was right next to the door that led you to the outside pool / beach. The door didn’t have a soft close so it was constant banging of the door.

All three pools available to enjoy. Close walk to the beach. Great location. Awesome deck attached to each level made it very convenient to check in and out. Lovely staff. Very well-kept public bathrooms I’ve seen. They could’ve done a better job mopping the floors in the entryway of the room and the kitchen. Our feet/socks got black.

There are 3 pools at this location and all are outrageously cold with no heating. The house cleaners were 2 hours late and they only remade the bed and took out the trash. The toilet, bathtub, sink etc were not cleaned and remained dirty the entire stay. The hotel is also several blocks from the boardwalk and the staff at the front desk including management did not care about service complaints, were rude and showed no urgency in helping on any matter. It's unfortunate that an establishment that received a roach complaint just a month ago remains to practice unsanitary measures. It's also unfortunate that there is no human care or component in their customer service. Don't stay here if you actually want a clean place to stay or somewhere that cares about anything outside of money. Like I said someone died and instead of atleast saying sorry for my loss, they cut me off, talked over me, didn't return calls and remained insensitive and rude.

Overall it was a good experience, but the hotel is aging and it is noticeable. Property feels old and dingy. But beach view was nice. Parking at the hotel is convenient. Room felt clean, but next time I would just stay at the Hilton.

The room we stayed in was oceanfront with a balcony on the 8th floor. It had a king sized bed, nice balcony seating, the room was very spacious, had a full kitchen, a little dining area, double vanity in the bathroom, and a lovely large shower. The room was clean with modern decor and comfortable bedding. The hotel staff at the front desk and Starbucks were beyond pleasant at each encounter. There was easy access to/from the beach which was nice, 3 running elevators, and plentiful parking in the covered garage. We enjoyed the two outdoor pools and thought the indoor pool looked beautiful. We didnt get the opportunity to dine at the hotel restaurant but hopefully next time. We will also enjoy the outdoor seating area and bonfire next time as well. Oh! And the warm, delicious cookies were the cherry on top - so good! We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for making our 20th wedding anniversary celebration a wonderful one!

Clean room

First, I reserved an ocean front room and was given a room that faced the street and a very noisy receiving area for the hotel next door. Both the hotel and this site refused to move me. The room I got stunk and the smoke detector kept beeping. Never again!

Our room was very clean. We had an issue with the AC but maintenance was quick to try and correct it and Matt was quick to try and figure out a solution. Great location directly in the beach. Can’t beat that with little ones!

The place is nice. However it’s not the cleanest. We checked in and saw 2 hair on a supposed clean towel, as well as a fly that we couldn’t deal with. The staff was able to provide fly catcher for us to hit the fly, but was unable to change us into another room that’s ocean front.

The pool and view

Liked the outdoor areas. Beach access was good. Firepit area was well set up Hotel wasn’t as high class as expected. Stayed at another doubletree in Georgia and it was very high class. Expected the same here. This was much lower class than we were prepared for

I enjoyed the swimming pool and around the town nearby. The warm cookies were nice touch
