Simple Life Motel

It was very close to the beach on 31st entrance, balcony was a plus got side view of ocean . parking was good, location was good close to many restaurants walking distance. The ice machine was down, and it smelled bad when you walked by it. The rooms had little flies all around the balcony door and bathroom had to spray down and wipe. Pool area can use some attention the trees are over growing got in the way of walking to the pool or your chair.

Outside looked run down and dirty. Bathroom still had plaster spots on the walls

Location was ok. But office not really on site. I needed my bug spray..the patio floor needs repair and the tv lacks popular stations like espn

It was a good location. Okay pricing. Excellent for one night. Had a fridge. Really needs fixing and updates. The door barely opened to the balcony. Another rooms balcony door fell completely off. It was cheap and not super clean or well kept. Clean enough for a one night stay but not good for more than one night.

They don't have Wi Fi in the room. We got week Wi Fi at balcony and their office has Wi Fi. I asked few times and they did not solved it. It was very inconvenience.

Building itself is very rough looking and outdated. We asked if there was a restroom we could use before our check in time and the bathroom/changing room available was absolutely disgusting and infested with bugs, they do not clean that bathroom. After check in we go to our room and we are unable to open our door with our key card. Once the attendant comes up to help us in, we learn you have to slam your shoulder into the door for it to open. The room smelled of dust and mildew and just felt damp and wet. While laying in bed we kept feeling droplets of water falling from the ceiling. A plastic water bottle was attached to the shower head. That on its own was absolutely ridiculous and unbelievable. We learned the hard way: you get what you pay for and this is what $200 a night gets you in Ocean City. Worst place we’ve ever stayed in OC.

The location was great. Feet to the beach. Less than 200 a night. You get what you pay for. Nothing seriously wrong. Just old and in need of TLC.

For the good: the room is renovated and roomy. There’s a refrigerator and microwave. Parking challenging depending on time you arrive. Gets full late at night and certain events. The office is right across at the Flamingo motel I think same owners.

We couldnt open the balcony door, talked to them. They ripped a pieces out it was still VERY difficult to open and they left the pice right outside of the door. The other balconies ac drained on to us if we tried to sit outside. And more.
