Tides Inn

The room decor is very dated, and can use a refresh. The lighting was lacking at times making it hard to see during the daytime even with the curtains opened. This is not a deal breaker, but could be improved.

Location was perfect. Price was OK but cheaper than most areas (peak pricing) Dirty. I was noticed at check-in that they were short staffed, but honestly. Who were they kidding? Saw 3-4 hotel staff carts moving from room to room and with the amount of rooms they had, they had plenty. Used cups, broken toys and food in the corners of the carpet still around the room when we came in. Only went for a short weekend so it wasn't worth making a fuss over. One bed looked like it was used but put back together to make it seem clean. I know you're trying to flip a room quick but laziness isn't the way

Pool was nice, also enjoyed showers outside to rinse off. Few things, When we first got into the room it had a strong moldy wet smelling odor in the entire room. We didn’t say anything and left windows and A/C on to air out. Beds seemed damp as well. There could be more staff as well.

The location was great. Cross the street on one side it's the beach and on the other side was an amusement park plus only a ten minute drive to the boardwalk. I have no complaints from my stay.

The rooms are a little outdated, but clean. Overall good experience. The front desk man at check in was super nice and accommodating when I arrived early at 5am. There were no parking spaces available and he made one for me!!

I loved that the staff was soo nice and helpful! The room was outdated but clean! The cleaning staff was so friendly. The room was outdated and there was a slight mildew scent. The carpet had many stains and was worn down.

Parking was a bit challenging. There was one small window in the back of the room that let in just enough light to make sleeping in difficult

The doors should have an additional locking mechanism, as my 2.5-year-old grandson could still open the locked door.

Wish it had an elevator but it was great! Beautiful beach views!! Clean and staff was extremely helpful! We will go back! My friend wanted an elevator

The hotel was two blocks away from bored walk no coffee pot and the bathroom had nowhere to sit your clothes while in shower. Plus room smelled of mold . No coffee pot, the smell of mold and the bathroom having nowhere to sit clothes
