Thunderbird Beach Motel

The property is very dated which isn't a huge issue but the beds are horrible. They were like sleeping on concrete blocks. I needed a Chiropractor after. All of the towel bars were missing and there was no place to hang everything. The check in staff was very pleasant and so were the cleaning staff but they do start cleaning very early and their roller carts sound like airplanes going back and forth all morning so if you plan on sleeping in, forget it. Property was very clean.

Outdated but clean. Very friendly staff. Beach is less than a minute walk. Close to the stores and restaurants. Will stay again

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Our door did not fully close there was a crack that air & noise came through.

Simple, clean and friendly

We went for a festival. The festival was cancelled. The motel made us pay for the full 4 days when leaving after 2. Also nothing worked in the room. The lady at the front desk was not helpful.

The receptionists in the office were very kind and sweet and informative. Can't think of anything wrong with our stay.

The feel of old school motel meets cost conscious folks. The price was great, especially for being in Ocean City Maryland in September. Super close walk to the beautiful early sunrise. These beaches are beautiful and wide, unlike our beach in Flagler County Florida. So back to the room, not a super modern room, but the bed was nice, room was good for us. Room was about 12'x30. Back windows, facing the building behind us, opened and would be nice to hear the ocean waves crashing. Heated pool, close to fast food, attractions, city bus stops. I would recommend eating at the 28th St Pit&Pub, Chicken cheesesteak. Nothing, not everything has to be new or modern to appreciate it.

Cleanliness of room, close to boardwalk and convention center, gave us permission to stay and use the pool. Small parking lot, I didn’t ask if there was an elevator for the baby/baby stuff so that was on me!

The Thunderbird was comfortable but old and out dated. The location was Very good for mee to access the event . Bars and food spots that I was visiting

No breakfast is offered at least that I knew of. Location of The Thunderbird is everything. 1/2 block from the beach. Our electricity kept going out. The office said there r 3 rooms on one breaker. Not good

We had a great stay! We got lucky a had a parking space every night but was aware that you might not get one if you stay on a busy weekend. But for the price and location, this place was great!
