This is by far one of my worst experience in a hotel, it states its a pet friendly but my dog had an accident and from there I felt they were just watching me the whole time and receiving calls with no one on the line. There is no breakfast like it states. I receive a text message after I booked stating that there were no breakfast, that Expedia or other 3rd parties promoted like that but they didn’t have breakfast only a to go bag. At check in they request a $200 deposit in cash (it was never stated it was cash) and if you don’t have the cash they have an ATM, very convenient for them. Of course we did not receive our deposit back because of our dog having the accident. They just gave me a paper stating what it was going to be charged (informal) but with no amount, they provided me the number for me to call the place to receive the prices, which, if this has happened before they should have all that handy to provide to the customer. When I called the place, they said that I needed the item number. I went back to the hotel request for the item numbers, but haven’t received no email with those item numbers. I will never stay here or recommend anyone to stay here!

The room had a strong smell of mold. The carpet under the AC was damp and there were towels rolled up under the unit outside the room. When I requested a new room the person behind the desk, Arnold, took my key and would not give me a new room or let me get my things out of the room. He disappeared into a back room for 10 minutes while my property was locked in the room. Finally a house keeper let me into the room to retrieve my belongs. I was forced to find a different hotel for the night and the hotel still charged me for the full room fee AND the full security deposit. I spent a total of 15 seconds in the room which was not occupiable do to the obvious mold infestation.

Location is good but it’s really runt down. They try really hard to maintain it but there’s always a shortage of towels has strong smells of mold and mildew.

Had to book last minute and this was available. I booked this place and arrived an hour later. The front desk was nice. The bathroom has some moldy tiles but we just needed a shower and 2 beds to sleep in. The beds were cozy and we slept well. The shower pressure was a bit low but can’t complain. We walked over to a coffee shop for breakfast next door which was good coffee and food. They do not do breakfast at this Inn.

The room was falling apart AC kept going up to 80 degrees on its own, blow dryer they have in the room started to catch fire and the plug kept arcing, shower head had little drizzle of water no water pressure, breakfast included was a joke little a 8x6 table with fruits and expired drinks and cereal. Also I was trying to wash my sons jersey and had to go to every floor to find a working washer then a different floor to find a dryer when I told them they just said we will let the owner know and I want a refund it’s ridiculous

When we arrived, our room had dirt in the shower and a dirty towel. We notified the front desk, and a staff member came up, cleaned the shower, and replaced the towel, which I appreciated. There were also alcohol prep pads left on the dresser, which seemed like an odd amenity and made me question why they were there. In addition, there were frozen towels in the mini fridge, which was confusing since there was no explanation for them. Seemed like they cater to the local crack heads in the area in this aspect. The room itself showed quite a bit of wear. The carpet was ripped, and even the entry door was carpeted, which was unusual. On the positive side, the bed was clean, and the white bedding gave me confidence that it was well maintained. Overall, it was fine for a one-night stay, but for the price, I expected a cleaner, better-maintained room and a more polished experience.

A tough one here to review. The low price per night is what you have to keep reminding yourself when they ask you for cash when checking in, the signs for ice machines lead you know where, and there appears to be mold in the shower. It’s all about the $ you are saving by not staying closer to the beach. Use that extra you saved for food, experiences etc. It’s a ten minute walk to the hub with restaurants etc. Very close to the action. A very cool coffee shop opened adjacent to the hotel and a decent Mexican restaurant is also adjacent. Staff is friendly as is the property manager. If you like a rock hard mattress than you’re in luck! Parking was never an issue. If you don’t need a sea view than keep this on your list. Just remember, this is a 2 star property at most. Lower your expectations and you will be just fine.

Room service was absolutely horrific, bed wasn’t made for the whole four days I stayed!!! On one day I guess the maid for my room needed service and I had to go down to the front desk and request for towels and also the sink in the bathroom took forever to drain. Overall service was very unsatisfactory to my satisfaction and I was very disappointed in the service.! you can tell that hotel doesn’t get a lot of service there because the housekeeping is totally horrific. I will never stay there again and I come down to Camp Pendleton for a lot of Military conferences and I usually stay on base but for some reason that week that I stayed therefore the conference there was no availability so I had to stay out of town. !

Area seems sketchy; security plexiglass in the lobby. Staff working there were rude. Walking in to the lobby and seeing staff behind plexiglass was not welcoming and seemed like the hotel was unsafe. Didn’t see an elevator. Very basic room. Lots of room near the sink. Next to a busy road. Would not recommend.

Location is great. The lady checking us in was rude. All the other staff was amazing . Seems very run down. Missing grout in the bathroom. Just seems a little neglected. But for the price you what you pay for

Bathroom fan was loud and didn’t exhaust moisture at all.
