Dragonfly Guest House

The Proprietors of the Dragonfly were exceptional in every way. They greeted us like family and made us feel like family the entire 3 days of our stay. Their breakfast was fantastic and choices were enough for everyone. The rooms are great and the ambience of the room, the flowers and the garden are just lovely. They exceed our expectations in every way and we will be going back and highly recommend the Dragonfly to our friends. There was nothing to not like! It was as perfect as you could get!

Charles and David are excellant hosts, The breakfasts were unique and delious, The host were very knowledable of the area. Everything was within walking distance, but the trolly stop is right across the street,

Breakfast menu was excellent as well as the service! The location was good. Everything was wonderful. That is why I plan to return for another stay at the end of the summer.

Simply everything! Charles and David are amazing and made sure we had everything we needed from a delicious breakfast and fantastic cookies in the afternoon to beach towels and beach chairs. They were warm, welcoming and just the best hosts. The guest house is super cute and cozy! The room was great with comfortable beds, a private terrace and a clean bathroom. You can reach both Ogunquit with its fun shops and the beach as well as Perkins Cove easily by foot or with the trolley that stops right outside the guest house. There are wonderful restaurants nearby and you can stroll along the marginal way for the views. -

We were in a room that bordered the street, so our view and our quiet were affected. I guess somebody needs to stay in that room, but it was not ideal for this light sleeper.

Charles and David are warm, welcoming hosts. the guest house is very comfortable and homey. Breakfasts were delicious, balanced and creative, a perfect start to the day. Location is perfect, close to Perkins Cove, downtown shops, marginal way. There is nothing I would change.

Breakfast was a pleasant healthy selection each day, typically a fresh baked pastry, an egg fritatta or similar, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, bagels, etc. Fresh baked goodie set out in the afternoons was a nice and delicious touch. Pretty much had everything you need/expect or want. Hosts were wonderful.

Such amazing hosts! They were both full of great suggestions that made us able to navigate Ogunquit like locals! The daily cookies were also delicious ?

The owners are amazing and on it. Very kind, very helpful, and cooked a wonderful breakfast each morning. We liked everything.

Charles and David were simply great hosts! The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. There are also awesome restaurants in the area (The Maine Catch!). Good spot to explore southern Maine. Ogunquit itself is small town which many shops and restaurants which can be reached by foot. We visitied at the end of season, hence it was less crowded then normal. Nothing, really, Just be aware that Maine is rather large compared to the rest of New England. So if you want to visit some places in northern Maine, you will have long drives.

I hope this review doesn't mean you will so fully booked that we won't be able to get a reservation next year! Gail & Harry
