The Trellis House

The location was so convenient and the stay was peaceful and amazing!! We were centered between the beach and Perkins cove. I especially liked that they had a wonderful breakfast, a beach bag and towels to use for the beach and chairs to bring as well. Mark was extremely helpful and resourceful! I don’t have any complaints and we can’t wait to return!

Somewhat secluded and off-the-beaten track lodging, yet still close to all the action! Nothing.

Breakfast next door at the Blue Shutters Inn was exceptionally tasty! Nothing

Location was perfect. Right near the Marginal Way and walkable to everything. Breakfast was wonderful and the happy hour with guests was especially nice.

Been coming here for years. Now under new management which Girard the new owner has kept the beauty and charm of the Trellis House. The staff is wonderful and very helpful and the breakfasts are so yummy. The grounds are well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I am a early riser and they have complimentary coffee every morning, however it is not available until 7:15 - 7:30 am . My preference would be at 6am or 6:30 am ! However there are coffee shops open close by at 6am outside of this it is a must stay !!!!

It was beautifully kept and had so much character! Little cozy areas all around. Small touches made for such a great experience. Hard to manage the humidity, but the room and bathroom felt damp the entire stay. Again, hard to control the environmental element. It’s something good to know for anyone w allergies or sensitivities.

Staff was wonderful and welcoming with great suggestions for meals and activities. Breakfast was amazing as were the treats for happy hour. The location was also great with easy access to restaurants and the Marginal Way walk. Highly recommend Nothing

The Breakfasts were so delicious :) the afternoon happy hour was such a good time and one cannot forget Bentley their dog who was so precious & delightful. The owners Lawrence & Glen and their staff are so delightful and accommodating making sure your every need is fulfilled. The Trellis house is the only place we stay when visiting Ogunquit for it seems like home away from home. The location is ideal for it is a short walk to town, or to the beach or Perkins cove. Nothing ! always great

The experience was first class from check-in to check-out. Everybody was so friendly: the owners, the staff, the owners’ dog, and all of the guests. The property and the grounds are immaculate. Happy hour on the porch was a great way to connect with the other guests as well as with the owners & staff. Breakfast at Blue Shutters was so delicious, don’t oversleep & miss it!

Staying at the Trellis House is more live an event than a night’s stay. Thoughtful reception, great linen, and breakfast was lovely. Had to go next door to eat breakfast.

The hosts are extremely welcoming. Property is quiet and in great location. The breakfasts are wonderful and filling. Very nice atmosphere and great food during daily happy hour.

The Trellis House is beautiful and well decorated. The location is perfect. The staff and owners are friendly, personable and very attentive. The breakfast and happy hour snacks were fantastic. This was our first trip to Maine and Ogunquit and it won't be our last!
