All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Great place to stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable; we paid for a larger room, so it was spacious.

The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The location was great - short walk to Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, beaches, restaurants and shops. CONS: Room not insulated well. It was very loud. We heard the other guests above and around us. Doors slamming loudly. Weed was being smoked on porch outside our room. We don’t mind weed being smoked, but the odor permeated our room and it was very unpleasant. We enjoyed our time in Ogunquit, but will research other accommodations for our next visit.

This was a nice standard beach type room. The room was well worn. but clean with a comfortable bed. Convenient to walk to shopping, dining and the wonderful coastal walkway that Ogunquit has. The breakfast was very good as we only had 1 night and were heading out for a long day of driving (although a 6:30am start time would have been nice). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were on the high side, but we came during an obviously busy time the week after labor day. We have decided that the Maine coast north of Portland is much more laid back and conducive to our activities that the city-like feel of Ogunquit with throngs of people competing to dining and lodging.

Cute hotel with lovely wrap around porch, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Nice pool area with outside games. Easy walk to Marginal Way pathway and the beach.

What a wonderful stay at the Colonial Inn. The hot tub and pool were perfect for relaxing after a day wandering into the center of town. Very close to everything, no need to use your car. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would stay again!

Breakfast came with the room and they had coffee available 24 hours a day. Very close to an entrance point to the Marginal Way. Also close to shops and restaurants.

Convenient location, walk friendly. Can’t say that I did not like anything.

Property is older and run down in areas. The outside wrap around porch is as so dirty with spilled food and stains. Needs to be power washed for sure. The pool was very small and the outdoor games were old and worn. There were mismatched chairs outside in pool area as well as around the fire pit which was in an area you couldn’t even see it. The stairs to our out building were peeling and had trash in the corners. On the second day of our stay the cleaners left a dirty black rubber glove on the nightstand and didn’t clean the coffee pot. She also didn’t leave us any extra towels. We had to call the front desk to get some more toilet paper and tissues as well. The continental breakfast was awful. The same frozen egg things each day. No variation. No cut fruit. No bananas. Only old apples and oranges. The brewed coffee was the worst and tasted bland and weak. Our room at least was clean and big but needed a rug. No patio or outdoor seating near our room which was a bummer. I would not stay here again. The pictures online are old for sure and don’t show the run down condition of the property.

The room was clean and tidy. The Staff were friendly and welcoming. A short walk to both Perkin’s Cove and Ogunquit shops/restaurants. A very enjoyable stay.

Location the room smelled, we did not have a room in the main Inn, the room was more like a bungalow, the occupants above our room made noice all night breakfast was horrible, both days milk was always out, tried the fruit, but was rotten, the food was half frozen, we noticed other guests went out to by breakfast and ate it in the dining room, we had no choice but to go out and buy breakfast as well.

The location is right on the main street to everything and in the middle to Perkins cove and Ogunquit Beach. The town is just down the hill. Marginal way is a few steps away. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was served every morning, plus cookies in the afternoon. You can sit on the front porch or out on your balcony.

Great size rooms, great location walkable to restaurants, beach, Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. Great vacation!

Great location, staff was pleasant & helpful

Location is strongest plus. Breakfast was decent. Staff courteous, tried to be helpful The room. Had corner room in Shorebirds. Directly behind is a mechanical pump or something that ran frequently and generated considerable noise; felt like living next to a boiler factory. Also despite A/C, the room and bedding always felt damp. Brought to attention of staff, but nothing changed. Room furnishings basic quality. Very overpriced for what it is. Will look for another facility next time.

This was a wonderful property. Great location, breakfast included, clean and appealing indoor space and pool area. The only negative was the lack of sound proofing in the Shorebirds building.

Great location Property is a bit tired

All was good. Booked again for next year.
