Clean, quaint, and friendly staff. Breakfast was just enough, and very tasty. A few quirky things happened while we were there. The fire alarm went off, fire trucks came. Also, one afternoon speakers sounded and extremely loud obnoxious music was heard all over the in. I sought out the source and both speakers were in the dining area. Met a man who said he was sleeping. The two of us unplugged the speakers.

The breakfast was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to Perkins Cove and downtown.

Amazing breakfasts. Definitely worth staying here just for that. Super friendly staff that is so eager to really know you. Happy hours are fun and good way to meet other guests. I like that you can hang out in both this place and the Trellis House. Nothing

The staff was extremely friendly. The inn (actually 2 inns next to each other) was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities one could desire. Breakfast was delicious each of the 2 days of our stay. Parking was right outside the inn. Ogunquit Beach and Marginal Way are a quick walk away. Even the Playhouse is walkable! They had a nice cocktail hour each night at the inn which gave us a chance to share local restaurants and sights with other guests and the innkeeper. They have really thought through the needs of guests and have created a wonderful experience overall. We highly recommend Blue Shutters Inn. My husband and I discussed this during our stay and could not come up with one thing that they could improve regarding the inn or the overall experience. It was really a great stay.
