It is a stunning property! Pool is fabulous but the charming cottages and the setting on the river just put this property in an amazing category!!

The grassy areas and playground were very nice for our toddler.. You had to drive to the beach! Then load all your things a long way down to the sandy area. Not possible to get through the muddy river bed …

Privacy, staff, grounds, location Room was very small for the price

Location was beautiful, very nice views. Access to beach a little tricky. No breakfast but coffee service and packaged snack bar were nice, much better than room coffee. Beautiful walk-in shower and new bathroom The toilet paper holder came apart and dropped toilet paper on the floor a number of times. Annoying for price of the room. The room was pretty small, but bathroom was spacious.

Beautiful location, nice view Double bed , room very small
-
Serene, spacious, beautiful grounds, door through wooden fence directly to famous Lobster Pound restaurant.

The Dunes is a unique property. Unlike many motels, where guests are all close together, The Dunes has plenty of space to have guests spread around the property. The setting is very serene and relaxed. The room was a bit small and I think the cost of the room was a bit high given the space we had. There are also one and two bedroom cottages which looked lovely.

Grounds Motel room is tiny.

Beautiful property and well kept Not close to town

Location beautiful. It was more difficult than pictures showed to get to the beach. We waited till 1030 when office said we could cross by noon we went elsewhere. Bed very uncomfortable. Very expensive for not having breakfast, beach access and an uncomfortable bed.

I stayed in a two story building with six units. The room was well maintained, I liked the view of the river and the outside seating area. The room was fully equipped with hairdryer, iron, coffee maker, soaps and shampoos. There was nothing I needed. The walls in the unit were thin, I could hear my neighbors having a conversation. It was not really a problem, it's just not something I care for. Everyone was respectful and there was not excessive noise in the evening or the morning.

Everything about this charming hotel is wonderful. Will stay here again when I go back. I loved everything about this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Every inch was clean and perfect.

Friendly staff . Facilities are clean and well kept. Liked the individual cabins very private. Nice setting above an open estuary. none

The rooms were tiny and tacky and the bed was very soft.

Very peaceful and relaxing. The mid-priced rooms were small and musty.
-
Beautiful grounds and view of the ocean. Walls were thin. We could hear people in the rooms next door.

Great views, away from the busy parts. A little cramped, doors need to be replaced.
