The Sea View Motel

It was a great stay. Location was amazing right in front of the beach!

The staff was great,the room was large and clean. The trolley stopped right in front of the hotel.

First, the staff were very nice. Let's call out the positive. However, this is a cheap, outdated and rundown beach hotel. The difference between what they charge and what you get left me angry by the time I checked out. I was quoted a $600+ per night rack rate. I paid $260, and felt taken advantage of. The toilet did not flush. The electric outlet didn't function. The towels were cheap and so worn they were threadbare. The curtains extended to below the A/C vents, so either the curtain was left open and the sun came in in the morning, or the curtain was closed and blocked the air. The furnishings are cheap, Ikea particleboard. There is nothing about this hotel that justifies the price. God bless them if this is the Ogunquit market. But objectively, there is nothing to justify the amount this place charges. If that is the Ogunquit market, I won't return.

Quiet. Cleaned every day with new towels and soaps. Just easy. Comfy beds and comfy chairs outside.

While the house was spacious it was not upkept. Outdated and sloppy updates around the house and property. The staff was helpful and the location and pool were convenient.

The motel was within walking distance to everything. We were able to get to both ends of the beach, every part of town and the Marginal Way in 20 minutes or less. The bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep after a very busy day.

Staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly both checking in and out. Room was big and king bed was comfortable. Rate was reasonable for in season. I liked it all.

Location is great. Staff friendly and very accommodating. We brought our own breakfast food so didn't explore or partake of their's. Nothing fancy about this place but we like it and have stayed there over past 3 years. The stairs and decks need repairs/replacements. The room was very crowded because they tried to fit 2 double beds and 2 chairs and a table into it. Could only get out of one of the beds on one side. Also the plug by the bed for changing phones, etc didn't work.

I liked the location to the center of shops and restaurants. The trolley as well was nice ran every 15mins. The beach isnt that close. Wasn’t as cozy or clean as it looked on line.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and spacious, bed very comfy and easy parking. Would definately come back!

The location cannot be beat. The front office staff is very welcoming. It's an old place so the stairs aren't wide, but they are safe.

The photographs portray a lovely vision and large pool. In reality the place is not well kept up and the pool is small. The mattress was good as was the coffee in the office. The AC was very loud and couldn’t control the humidity. The bathroom was tiny and tub was dangerously slippery. The sheets were polyester and pillows were uncomfortable. Our room was behind the stairs. Someone above us stomped around until 11 pm and by then the office was closed.
