This hotel was awesome! They just underwent a very thoughtful and well curated remodel and were able to maintain the charm or the hotel. The amenities were fantastic. I look forward to booking again and would recommend to others.

When checking in the computer system was not working. We had to wait maybe half an hour. They gave me and my wife a very nice glass of champagne. All staff we had contact with were pleasant and helpful.

Easy access to local attractions. Waitress in restaurant was very nice, as were the women working the front desk. High step to enter our room from outside. Nothing to hang onto for security. Felt unsafe for my 79-year-old husband with knee issues. Bathroom shower also felt unsafe due to very slippery shower floor and only one handrail at front of shower. Shower access required stepping over tub wall. We had to check out a day early due to bad storm impacting our drive back to Pennsylvania from Maine. Meadowmere charged us for entire stay claiming they couldn’t adjust charge because we booked through Booking.com. Booking.com claimed it was up to Meadowmere because we paid there directly. At $300 per room daily times 2 rooms, we were out $600 for the worst hotel room we’ve ever experienced. Our friends who traveled with us said their room was noisy due to construction outside of their window, and loud music in the room next to theirs. Our 82-year-old friend also had safety concerns due to entry step and slippery shower floor. We all agreed that the rooms were seriously outdated, and looked cheap, in spite of each being $300 per night.

Terrible. Got a late notification that my reservation could not be honored and no way other than navigating an ineffective AI assistant to try to rectify. Zero stars all the way around

The room was very nice but the shower/toilet as one unit and the sink and mirror in the bedroom was not that appealing to us, But I see the sense when multiple people are sharing and trying to get ready together. I thought the price was pretty high for what was an after Labor Day visit but it's a popular destination.

Our stay was going well. We booked for two nights for a short family getaway with our 7 month old daughter. We wanted somewhere nice and where we could walk to things with a stroller easily. The hotel itself was well kept and clean. Pools and hot tubs and gym were all nice. However, the first night after check in I happened to check my debit card charges, I do this frequently when on vacation. I had already paid in full for room and taxes and property amenities fee through Expedia and have the receipt. $423 charged to my card. Not from Expedia but from the resort. I said to my husband that must be a mistake I’ll ask what is up with it in the morning. Fast forward and the guy at the front desk finds the charge says he’s not sure how it got there and refunds the money. I brushed it off I thought it’s okay accidents happen and moved on with our day. At the end of the second night I look and see two more charges from the resort $83 and $25 The $25 they had told us would be kept for incidentals but weird that it didn’t come off until we were almost leaving. Again it’s late so I think well I will deal with this in the morning. Again they say they don’t know how it happened and put the $80 back on my card. They keep the $25 because they say they have to actually check us out before it comes back which is fine we checked out at 5 am so I was okay with that. Then on the way home $63 dollars was taken from my account after check out.

Very clean, nice breakfast treat options at office, very nice owner that helped me with a minor issue in our room. Exceptional hospitality. Close to town, good location. Great visit!! Enjoyed our stay.
