Elmwood Motor Court

The cleanest, cutest place ever! The person doing maintenance could be seen all the time, mowing the lawn, emptying common area trash cans, cleaning the picnic tables. Everything was kept up very well. Our stand alone cottage looked like it had recently been painted. Nothing was worn looking, or neglected. The bed was super comfortable, and it was great having a little kitchen. The pool is located so that everyone could see it, yard games, arcade room, gas grills for use. Trolly stop being on property was a plus. We weren’t traveling with young children, but I could see how this would be a great place to go and save money while having access to the downtown area and beaches. I would definitely stay again!

Great place. Spotless. Great pool. Staff were super friendly. 5 minute drive to the beach or easy 20 minute walk. Very quiet at night. Will stay again.

Only negative was no hot water on and off. Very frustrating. You have to run water over and over again to get hot water flowing. I hope to return in the fall when rates go down.

The bed was a touch small but SUPER comfortable! It was very quiet and upon arrival was very clean. Parking under the trees but if thats the worst thing I’d say they are doing pretty darn well!

The staff and grounds were great however you could tell it was off season. When we arrived at our cabin the only thing plugged in/on was the fridge. We had to turn the water on and re assemble the fans. The only real main issue was the water itself. At first it took a while to get hot and on our last morning there there was no hot water at all which made showers and washing up dishes unable to be done.

The kids loved the pool and we loved the screened in porch and how close we were to the ocean. The bed was hard

This is a classic motor court and we enjoyed our stay here very much. It's not luxurious, it's a motor court and it was exactly as we expected. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water, it was clean. The kitchen is small but adequate; we cooked dinner one night, had breakfast in 3 mornings. There's a restaurant across the street that was good. It's a short drive to the pier and the beach. It was very quiet when we were there - between summer and leaf peeping. The pool was open but it was too chilly to swim.

What a lovely little spot! My cabin was clean, well stocked, and cozy. The staff was accommodating to my late check in and early departure. The property is close to the beach, highway, and numerous retail/dining options. Portland is just 25-30 minutes away. I definitely recommend Elmwood Motor Court!

The staff were great and the cottage was great. We would have stayed longer but we didn't book out enough nights and it filled up.

Great space overall. The only inconvenience is the loud ac/heat machine. It woke me up at night.
