Seafarer Inn and Cottages

The cabins were very quaint and cozy to stay in. It was gloomy weather outside, which made relaxing in the cabin even cozier. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and always available. It was the perfect stay for a relaxing evening, will be staying there again!

The bed sheets were clean and there were no signs of bedbugs or any other insects. The toilet was clean. The owner, who I assume was the cook, was very friendly. The building and rooms are in disrepair and the whole place is run down. The rugs are black, shag rugs, which are not appealing. The place needs a paint job inside and out.

Nothing really. All of it. Location is so-so, terrible intersection, no signage for the cottages other then a Seafood for sale sign. Rooms were not as pictured. Poor parking, had to back in from the street just to park, room was ok, but smelled musty. Shower had some mold in the corners. Biggest issue was the bed, upon arrival it looked lopsided. We didnt think much of it and left. Came back after hours (10pm) to finally go to sleep and call it a night. My other half sat on the bed and the entire thing broke and fell on the floor. Bed frame split. Upon further investigating we noticed that all 4 corners of the box spring was on cinder blocks! The side that fell was propped up on the wood bed frame that was technically there just for decorations and had been screwed and nailed together in the corner before. The cinder block had been shoved back and was not touching the left side under the box spring. We pulled the cider block forward and balanced the box spring on it. I immediately took a video of it, called the front desk and got a answering machine message stating if it's an emergency to call the owners cell phone which I did. I got NO reply back at all that night and didnt get a call until 9AM the NEXT morning!!!!!! We didnt stay, we packed up our things that night and left. DO NOT STAY HERE. AWFUL.

The place was dirty and there were stains everywhere. I’ll never be back. Clean the place and buy some new sheets and towels.

Nothing don’t waste your money on this property. It is totally outdated only way to watch TV. Is you have to stream from your phone bathroom door doesn’t even close 2 inches too wide not to mention the spiders that you have to battle in the shower. Do nice inside was the refrigerator

Cute little place --- small but ok for one night. Rustic but good --- bathroom pretty small. Not much parking.

We didn’t. That is why we didn’t stay It was a run down motel. When we got there we knocked on the door. No one answered. I had to call. She said she would be right there. We waited 20 minutes. No one came to the door. We left and had to book a new place. Very dissatisfied. She didn’t even call to apologize for not answering the door. We asked for a refund and they declined. Very poor communication

It was very nice they offer breakfast although just very limited time. Very nice host. Close distance to beach. Just thought from pictures it had our own yard and more of a kitchen with a coffee pot. the pictures must show every cottage, should show what you are getting. Just thought it would be a little more private.

Bathroom door would not close, no tv (during world cup), no internet

The cabin (as they called it) was ok, for what it was. I made do with what little there was. The cabin was dirty and after killing 11 ants, I stopped killing and just left them alone.

Nothing. I truly believe that this business is in several code violations. As a new resident to the area , I will be following up with the local authorities. Left property immediately after viewing it.!!!!! Please don't let any one else lose their money! I believe that the several out buildings at this location are possibly inhabitable and are up to be shut down! The local Building Code Inspector needs to be notified about this property. Also all of the pictures that the owner posts for renters to decided to stay there are NOT what we paid for. Please look at all of the other reviews. I am not the exception!

Close to the beach, Cozy little cabins. The curtains infront of the glass doors were pretty much see through lol

it said it was a mile from the beach but that was driving it was not for walking it should have said it is too far too walk there is a trolley that can take you to the cottage from the train station not enough plugs more light fiixtures there should have been a note on the kitchen faucet saying that the faucets are backwoods the cold was hot and the hot was cold the faucet in the bathroom should have been one not two i was not able to wash my face there should have been a night stand on both sides of the bed more light in the bathroom not motion sensor light the mirror in the bathroom was to high there needed a welcoming mat so you donot bring rocks in the cabin thicker toilet paper

Reasonably priced Shower was small and in poor condition.

No coffee pot in the room.

We did not stay the night...the bed was dirty , a hole in the wall, no towels, no extra blankets...if you needed anything, you had to walk down to the office...we got there at 1 p.m. and left the same day around 6 p.m. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. Everything was wrong with this room.. I could have paid extra $40 ,,and got a room at the comfort inn where they give you free breakfast and actually have towels .

I absolutely love the feeling of the cottage! It was rustic and cozy. And the owners were so very welcoming and accommodating. Also the food at the cottages was a bonus. I really dont have much to say except I do wish it was a bit closer to the ocean but my husband and I didn't mind the walk to the Pier. It was a beautiful weekend so we enjoyed it. Very much!

Umm advertised a pool and hot tub..and breakfast .....breakfast was coffee.... Never did see the pool ....hot tub was a blow up one in the owners yard....the grill was shared and also in the owners yard....not for long term but one night to sleep and shower would have been fine ....no microwave

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing to like. the trash smelled like rotted meat . Good night enjoy the outside amenities that they did offer because it’s a the smell was so grotesque .The staff was rude and inhospitable . There was brown all over the top blanket that appeared to be feces and he refused to give us new bedding. Charged us $25 know per child to stay , which was not in any previous literature.
