Island View Motel

Forest was very helpful and attentive made sure everything was good with our stay rooms were clean and room was nice and cool Noting that I didn’t like just wish there was an iron in the room

The island view motel has been recently upgraded and is a beautiful gem! The rooms have all been upgraded and are beautiful and clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

It was very nice. I don’t like that I can’t get in touch with someone right away. There’s no office on the property. I also was charged for using Booking.com there isn’t a service charge for there services.

WE arrived for checkin,house keeping was still doing room,Bailey,head housekeeper was great.We had a keypad entry that intially the # wouldn't work,gave us a new # and had problems locking/unlocking.No one on property is not good.I call the # for maine retreats and always get a leave a message with seldom a call back.We would have been in trouble if nobody would have been there and as it was we had to leave room unlocked to get in.Everything else was great,clean,friendly(when someone was there)all in all great stay,will be back

Unit needed maintenance, paint. The floor needed fixing.

Stairway noise, upstairs noise, not a big deal, I live in the woods and am not use to it.

Close de the beach (1min walk) and a see view from the balcony and the room (last floor). Cool staff.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Was nice and quiet at night. Parking was easy. We didn't swim but other guests said the pool was lovely. Floor was damaged, felt a little rundown.

A chair would have been nice.Only place to sit was a little wooden kitchen set in kitchen area.

Ac was really loud, breeze was good tho.

For the price it's not great. Three floors with small stairs you have to carry everything up. Limited parking. Staff only on site till 8pm. A mile from the pier. Flooring wasn't great in room and dirty.

The fridge and tv hadn’t been plugged in, so the fridge wasn’t cold and freezer wasn’t ready for food. The TV cable was unplugged which made the tv not work till we figured it out. They do provide dish soap for dishes but no sponges or paper towels.

Everything! Nothing!

Facility was very clean. Our room had no celing or lights mounted. One lamp on the wobbly table, so lighting was weak. The lamp between our beds had no USB plugs or clock to know what time it was.

Was the typical old orchard beach hotel. Convenient. Staff was super nice. Small pool in the front was great for kids.
